Hi guys....as u know.....episode 8 will be filmed in Dubrovnik.....would u be interested to do some drawings with Dubrovnik involved?

That's great. Would have given it more sky proportional to the sea, but otherwise, this is one of my favorite fan posters yet.

 

I just finished painting this on my iPad. Freehand (aside from a grid for proportions) using Procreate. Will post up a speed painting video of it of anyone is interested

Cool. How long have you been drawing?

 

I dunno. I've always liked to draw / gotten compliments from my art but life really gets in the way of it so I never really learned digital art or imporat techniques. Lately I've been drawing more often and I'm fairly sure that I have improved from that. I just learned a new technique today so I was pretty psyched.

 

Sounds similar to me - used to always draw at school, but never quite had the time to learn how to do it properly. A comedian, Simon Munnery once said many people are prepared to suffer for their art, not many are willing to learn how to draw properly... Anyway, a few years back, I decided to do a lot more and teach myself how to draw properly - the digital stuff has come from that. Here's a drawing I did on a first gen ipad about four years ago - at the time I thought it was a great likeness, but now I'm like "what the hell was I thinking?' It's supposed to be Ntlie Portman...

Art Request: Okay, I'm not aure this is actually a thing, but could anyone make some Luke Training Rey fan art? I've always wanted to draw something like that but so far, I'm working on portraits (as you can see). Also, I'd love to see Rey training in digital art, which, as I've already noted, I suck at. That would be great! Thanks guys!

 

natalie portman, in my opinion, is not the easiest woman to draw, she has feminine features that are strong but also masculine features.
