My biggest fears. Not enough PT, OT aliens. Lack of new ships. Not visiting a previously seen planet. Ben/ Ren as the last Skywalker-Solo & the end of the bloodline.

My biggest fear other then more rehash is Rey not being Luke's daughter.

I just hope that Gungans will not be featured in the entire trilogy, dead or alive!

Although a dead Jar Jar could possibly be satisfying...

One of my biggest fears is seeing the Millennium Falcon destroyed...I can imagine the writers having Chewy sacrifice himself AND the Falcon to save Rey and company in some heroic fashion. I think that might kill me more than what happened between Han and Kylo. I'd rather the ship be retired in a more open ended way...like Chewy or Lando flies off with it on other adventures.

It makes sense that Disney will eventually make the decision to get it out of the picture if for no other reason than to make room for a new hero spaceship... and new toys.

Totally agree. Its like how many times r they gonna destroy the Enterprise. It gets destroyed AGAIN in Beyond. Although I'd prefer the MF gets badly damaged & it gets REBUILT & upgraded.

It's kind of the same thing...the Enterprise is a government funded military ship, like a star destroyer. There is only one Millennium Falcon. It's the last of the V8s...know what I mean?!? I feel the same way about the falcon that I feel about my project car.

I am in the minority that appreciated the way TFA "rhymed" with ANH. It's an essential Star Wars motif. But if 8 and 9 "rhyme" the same way with 5 and 6 it will be a letdown.

That the creators of the ST will not understand how Lucas wanted a nine-episode saga to be structured, with arcs and symmetries and contrasts between the arcs, as well as the themes and values that he wanted to convey through Star Wars, and instead make a sequel that is instead only a sequel in a chronological sense, with its focus on different themes and values than those that Lucas intended Star Wars to be about. It would really affect my ability to view the PT, OT and ST together as a cohesive saga.

I just don't understand how movie execs don't get that it was absolutely necessary for Deathly Hallows, and has been absolutely unnecessary for everything else.

    Biggest fear... Colin Trevorrow.
Jurassic World wasn't terrible or anything, but I didn't like how it seemed aware of itself. It was, well, hipster-ironic in some way - making fun of the Jurassic Park franchise, while being a Jurassic Park movie. It's as if Trevorrow was too afraid of people thinking the film took itself seriously. Quite a common fear among ironic people, I've noticed. They are afraid of admitting to really liking something, since that could be considered "uncool", so they say they like it "ironically" instead. That's how the film felt. And it was extremely wrong for that franchise.
If he does the same thing to Star Wars, it will ruin the film - possibly the entire trilogy.

TFA rhymed with TPM as well. I think there will be some other rhyming, but TFA's success has given Lucasfilm some breathing room to do some experimenting.

Rey-"Ben, you're breaking my heart and you're going down a path I cannot follow.."

Snoke is too similar to Sidious or maz is to much like Yoda.

    Nooooooo!

    Starkiller base in IX

    "Rey I am your something."

That they kill Luke or Leia.

And, I don't know if I want Rey to be Luke's daughter. But, that's just me. I wanted it to end after ROTJ, so.

Agreed! One of the Big Three dying was quite enough!
