Amph Marvel's Iron Fist

So this is not a commentary on Marvel's dominance of the movie industry? There's a superhero called Iron Fist?

 

Looks like so many young fellas I see in New York these days - minus the bare feet.

 

Is there some kind of epidemic? Why don't they have feet?

 

Being a big Iron Fist fan, I'm looking forward to this one. Still a little worried about Finn Jones in the role, both acting-wise and in martial arts credibility. Fingers crossed that he's as good as Marvel's other lead actors.

 

i have the same reservation, but i'm totally open to the idea. and it doesn't stop me from being damn excited.

 

I am going to "try" and see the Iron Fist panel at NYCC on Saturday. Wish me luck as I suspect I'll need it.

 

I'm not seeing any yellow slippers.

 

Got into the panel and they showed us several scenes: Danny arriving back in NYC and trying to get into his company, Colleen Wing in a fight, the Meechums and Danny arguing, Harold visiting Danny, and lastly a hallway fight where we see Danny fight a bunch of goons. It all looks amazing.

But yeah no sign of a full on costume.

 

Would they even change the title?

 

I'm sure Danny's comic book outfit will be present in a flashback to K'un L'un and he'll make a comment about how it'd look so out of place in NYC. Then he'll probably have a green and yellow Under Armor outfit to "homage" the costume and people will write clickbait articles about how it's such a great adaptation of the outfit.

But in all seriousness, he's got a dragon brand/tattoo on his chest, that's already amazing.

 

Really can't wait for this one. Iron Fist was always one of my favourite Marvel heroes, I've got high hopes for this.

I thought Iron Fist was a Chinese fella , ? altho my memory of these characters is admittedly a bit murky .
