Rogue One Admiral Raddus Discussion Thread (and Fan Club)

One of my favorite moments from Rogue One was a heartbreaking line delivered by an alien.

Admiral Raddus, as he slowly realizes the team on the surface of Scarif is trapped, and has made the ultimate sacrifice, says simply and with deep reverence:

"Rogue One...May the force be with you."

Let us all bow to the generous heart of this wise Mon Cal warrior.

Thought this guy is cool, I look forward to seeing him in books, TV shows and video games in the future

There's an old saying characters aren't dead until u see them die. so Raddus could still be alive.

 

I rather liked Raddus; hoping he was captured by the Empire and we'll see a story of his liberation. Then again, he never appears in the OT...

 

Great character who did not get away IMO. The Tantive IV escapes but not him.

 

Raddus was great. They should have given him a death scene! (since we know he is dead )

 

We don't see all the crew of Mon Cala cruisers- there is slight chance he could've survived- like being captured by the Empire but that means he may have been executed.

 

If they captured the Admiral I can imagine it something like this will appear...

 

Admiral Raddus was the best. He didn't wait for any of the politicians to stop their politicking and do something on Scarif, he was already on his way when Mon Mothma even thought to ask for him. Also, he played a crucial role at the end, unlike many others back on Yavin..... cough.... cough...

 

Raddus is dead. Vader boarded the ship. RIP, you blue Mon Cal beast you.

yeah that was the best thing about him, while the politicians were politcing and not acting Raddus was off to fight! Like Jyn.

 

Big big Fan of him... A true Hero of the Rebellion.

 

I hope we get more of him somehow. Great character.

 

Raddus doesn't like to wait for politicians. He was a Calamari of action.

 

He may have been imprisoned. The empire didn't kill all the Rebel soldiers on the Tantive IV. We see them marching them toward the airlock. So, it's possible.

Although, I can see Raddus taking a blaster and dodging back and forth riding in his moving command chair; while shooting at troopers coming onto the bridge.
