Make-A-Wish - Rochester - Feb 18

Hello all!

As discussed at the meeting, we have been requested to appear at the trip reveal by the Make-a-Wish Foundation for a little girl to go to Disney World. We already have Amanda appearing as Rey, who will do the actual presentation of the trip to the family. They would like as many of us as possible to appear at this event, so please reply to this as soon as possible with your availability.

The event is at 5pm at Dave and Busters in Henrietta, so a 4pm arrival would be best. We will have a space to change into costumes.

Carpooling would be suggested for this event, as it is out of town.

I am 90% sure that I will be unavailable for this event due to work.

 

Count Jeff in as Sith and me in as Arctic Mando (can't see me cry in a helmet)

 

Count me in as either Porkins or Imperial Crewman as needed.

If I can muster a few Rebel Pilots that would be ideal.

 

What is the expected duration of the appearance?

 

If anyone would like to use our place as a spot to meet up / leave cars for carpooling, we have the space to do so.

Tentatively attending this as either a pilot or a Jedi.

 

I am unable to attend.

 

I honestly doubt it would last more than an hour. So if attendees want to organize a dinner gathering afterwards, that would probably make the drive more justifiable.

We have been asked to do a brief performance for The child and her two brothers (age 6 & 8) before the trip reveal. We will have audio hookup provided for our soundtrack. I was thinking our little demo.

We could use another Sith or two.

Once the demo is done, we'll have Amanda as Rey do the reveal. Then we can pose for photos. All in all, a 30minute or so appearance.

I made a very dumb decision and got my hair cut a little shorter than I originally wanted, so I can't do Rey's hairstyle right now I also would have no way to get there on my own. Very sorry I can ask Arlynn if she can be my replacement.

 

I could come as Han Solo (Episode 7) or as Jedi Master Vos. Let me know which would be preferred

I vote for Han Solo. I think the kids would be more familiar with Han than with Quinlan
