Challenge February 2017 Fanfic WORD RACE! (IT IS OVER POST YE FINAL COUNTS!)

I have 647 new words (most from the other day that I didn't report) for a current total of 2,199

And unfortunately I have two papers due on Sunday, so that's probably it for the week.

 

737 words on part two of my holiday challenge means I've broken 5000! New total: 5112

 

Well, I only got about 10 words written, but I actually got a lot done. The brilliant Kahara had somehow saved two of my old stories which were otherwise truncated and backed them up somehow & sent them to me. I did a fair amount of clean up and formatting on one of them, and a little more effort will see me able to re-post it. Not much to add to the total, but old stuff saved, so yay!

 

I had just a pathetic day in terms of real-world productivity and papers (UGH I AM JUST SO FREAKING READY TO BE DONE MY UNDERGRAD AND ALL THESE STUPID ELECTIVES... and yes, I am very aware I sound like myself when I was just about finished high school). But I got 474 words down on fanfic bringing my total to 4074.

But, yeah, someone needs to smack me upside the head and tell me to work on actual important things with due-dates.

 

953 more from me, haven't done as much as i'd have liked in the past few days for a few reasons, but... eh.

3151 new words today for the Dare Challenge (I told you it was a rabid plot bunny) which brings my total to 13088.

 

1209, mostly on my Dare Challenge, so a total of 8227, I think.

 

I did the bare minimum I needed to do for my paper (GAH WHY DID I TAKE A 3RD YEAR CLASS AS A FLIPPING ELECTIVE?) before I got distracted by fic stuff. I got up to 4324. But tomorrow I swear will be about my paper.

ANYWAYS! We are just over half way! How is everyone doing? I'm over my goal, but considering I've procrastinated on other things to get there, I don't feel very victorious, but the plot bunnies keep chomping.

 

i'm getting there. i don't know what my goal actually was, honestly. just figured i'd... write and see where i got.

I was kind of dead for three days, turns out it was a stomach issue, so I do not have anything to report, I even missed posting my "traditional" anti-Valentine fic, but I will catch up tonight.

My day didn't quite go as planned, but I did manage 1638 new words (still the Dare Challenge response!) for a grand total of 14726.

Thank you, Mistress_Renata . As I said to divapilot elsewhere, I have the immune system of a genetically-engineered monster, so one day of dieting and sleeping a lot was - apparently - enough to kick the bug. I just hope my mom didn't catch it, because she's my polar opposite.

20 444 would be my current word count.

 

The list has been updated, but I don't trust my brain.

I got to the 1/3(ish) way point in my paper, so I decided to reward myself with a bit of fic writing, bringing my total to 4682. Which might have been a mistake considering I have to sit in on some meetings tomorrow, so I am going to get nothing done.

 

post RPF posting and dare challenge completion i have an additional 3,120 words to add, giving me the new total of: 17,727

 

Finished chapter 2 of the Holiday Challenge; new total: 7229

 

It was 60,748. While I've been writing a bunch of Rogue One fic since 15 Dec, I'm only to about 55,700. That's a little over half of what I'd written by this time last year. My status post for 28 Feb 2016 says I wrote 94,929 words between 17 Dec and then.

 

Okay, 1118 tonight, to finish off my Mod Dare story. Think my new total is 9,345?

1743, for a grand total of 11,088, and two more chapters in my Celtic Challenge Epic! My characters did something I didn't expect, not sure how this will shake out, so I'm going to take a break.
