Nickel City Con - May 19-21 - Buffalo/Niagara Convention Center

Hello all!

We have been invited back to the Nickel City Con, running from Friday May 19 to Sunday May 21 at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.

This year's Con includes guests like William Shatner, Billy Dee Williams, Nichelle Nichols, Joe Montana, Sting (WCW) and many more.

Event times for the weekend are Friday 3-8, Saturday 10-7 and Sunday 10-5.

As most of you are aware, we are planning on participating in the WNY Vision walk the morning of Saturday May 20, so we will attend the Con afterward. If you feel that you are unable to do the walk, you are more than welcome to appear at the Con that morning, and we will meet you there.

Unlike last time, we will have a secure room to change in, and store personal items, on the lower level. Our booth number is #607.

For anyone who needs to know when set up times are, we are able to set up on Thursday, May 18 from 12pm-7pm, and Friday morning 7am-2:30pm.

Please post below, as soon as possible, what days and times you plan to attend.

I should, in theory, be able to do Friday 3-4, Saturday after the Vision Walk until 4ish, and Sunday 12-5.

 

Being an employee of Dave and Adam's (the NCC organizers), I will have to work there during the weekend. Will not know what my availability, if any, will be until closer to the event.

I will be splitting appearance days and time with SAWNY so I will be there, just not sure which booth and which hours as of yet.

 

I'll be at the con, just not sure if I'm going to "couter" up yet.

I plan on being there as much as I can all three days. Emily is unavailable on Sunday.

 

We are available for the duration.

 

I am unavailable. May is a busy month!

 

I plan to be there Sat or Sunday (which ever one we need more people for) with the other day I will be with super hero alliance. Friday would be hard since work until 5pm..no to mention make for a long weekend.

 

Reynolds Crew will do few hours on Saturday only, after the walk.

 

So with Billy Dee as one of the guests, will we be presenting something? I'd love to be part of that

I am out for Friday and Sunday. Saturday I plan to walk, and hope to be with NR for the afternoon.

 

I will be there all three days, except for when I'm doing the vision walk, or getting my photo ops with Shatner, Nichols, or Billy Dee.

 

The lone Reynolds will be there with the Alliance but if they have plenty on any particular day, I'll switch to a North Ridge costume for several hours.

I'll plan to attend on Sunday.

 

I'm available on Saturday until about 4

 

I'll be there Sat with SAWNY and Sun with NR.

 

I'll be there Saturday as Rey. I won't be there until after the Vision Walk, though. I plan on staying until the end.

 

I'll be there Saturday after the Vision Walk. I'll be leaving around 2:30 because I have to go to work.

 

I will be there all day Saturday as Mara and Polish Mando. I will be there after the VisionWalk has completed, so around Noon. Friday and Sunday I have committed with SAWNY.

 

I will be able to attend Friday and tentatively on Sunday. I unfortunately have a film shoot on Saturday so I will not be able to attend this or the Vision Walk that day.

 

The four of us will be attending all weekend.

At what point will we turn in names? Do we have to pay entry? Or do we get in as exhibitors? I ask because I'm purchasing photo op and autos and want to order the right packages.
