VIDEO Top 10 video games you've ever played

I searched a few pages for a thread like this, then got lazy, so I apologise in advance if this already exists.

Here you can list you're favourite video games! Top 5, top 10, top 100, do whatever you want.

I'm personally going to stick to console games for this, because Star Wars: The Old Republic would be the only PC game to get mentioned. Anyway, here's my top 10:

Na, sadly I never used to play a lot of games when I was younger. It's when PS3 came out that I really started getting into it.

 

1) UFO: Enemy Unknown / XCOM: UFO Defense
2) Ancient Domains of Mystery (ADOM)
3) Mass Effect

I was trying to think of a full Top 10 list, but like Life pointed out above, it felt a bit recent, so I backed away from it. I was thinking of games like Shadow of Mordor, the new XCOM games, Dragon Age might be somewhere on the list, and so on. I think I've simply forgotten a lot of games I used to like, or how exactly I felt towards them. But those three have stood the test of time for me or otherwise worked out really well. Still play them now and then, too. A bit of old, a bit of new, a bit of ASCII, and that's top three.

Well for me, a list of my top 10 games that I've played is more like a list of all the games I've ever played, lol.

Still, I like the little computer games you get free trials of when you buy a computer. Factory reset will return the free trials (Penny pincher, much?)

1. Plants v.s. Zombies -- Not sure why, but I absolutely loved this game....was very sad when the free trial ended, and I almost considered buying it. But then I didn't.
2. Any match 3 games. -- Very very addicting, but a little tiring after a while


Jeez, I need to play more games, lol. Honestly, I have a hard time sticking to a game, so it ends up being a waste if I buy it. I think I'll be sticking to my dorky little free trials for now.

Due to childhood nostalgia, my entries are inevitably going to be disproportionately occupied by N64 games, but it seems to me this is a list of our top 10 experiences playing games, not a ranking of the objectively best 10 games we've played. So, on that basis, in no order:

Given some of the other games mentioned I can't tell if the thread devolved into a poorly judged attempt at humour.

I haven't played nearly every single game that you guys have mentioned. Looks like I have some catching up to do!

 

Some of the other games on here are shocking (I'm certain one or two of mine are to some people too) but Arkham Knight is a terrible game compared to Asylum and City and unless you've only ever played 10 games or it's up against a list of 10 including The Force Unleashed.....

 

That's weird, I've only ever heard very positive things about Arkham Knight until now. It was an outstanding game. The only problem I had, was there wasn't many proper boss battles, but everything else made up for it.

Looking at that I realise that I really like the third part in trilogies...

 

Well everyone has their own opinions I guess. It wasn't until around 2010ish that I discovered Mario and the other famous Nintendo series and I only got a 360 in 2013 (mainly for Arkham Asylum and Arkham City actually) so my list is based on what I've played the most and have the most memories of.
