They don't have to spend the first fifteen minutes setting up how sad he is anymore.

 

Who thinks the original is on par with Die Hard trilogy, Lethal Weapon, Hard Boiled, The Killer, Robocop etc. in terms of adult action films? it was lightning in a bottle for action fans of the 80s and 90s actioners.

 

Just got back from seeing it. Think the first one had a better story, but overall it's a pretty worthy followup.

Also there must have been at least fifty head shots in this.

Well, they are dealing with the Bratva. The sequel deals with the Italian mafia. So I'm unsure what you can expect of a story set amongst the criminal underworld other than criminal trash.

John Wick is franchise that we really feel has got traction. It's got legs. It will run and run.
