How AMAZING are these covers? Ashley Witter & the Doctor Aphra series are a perfect match. Very excited for this new arc!

They do seem to be teasing us with that, but maybe it's misdirection. Is Trip really a "he"?

Aphra is such a player you could pretty much ship her with anybody and it would still be accurate. A whole 'nother comic could be made focusing strictly on her dating life.

Am I the only one who sees a giant figet spinner in the background of #15?

I’m surprised seen how far a side character from the comic canon has gone so far with her carrying a solo comic.

Helmet guy is either Tam Posla or someone wearing identical armor. Tam was a background character on the streets of Jedha in Rogue One, and got a brief write-up in the Rogue One Visual Guide. He's an "interstellar lawman representing the Milvayne Authority" who has become a bounty hunter. No word yet on how he survived Jedha, if it is indeed him.

He was with Saw's group in some Rogue One scenes - possibly during his hunt, he met them and enrolled with them? Given that they have their own ships, maybe during the DS1 attack on Jedha, he boarded an X-wing or U-wing at Saw's base?

Quick thread edit note: Doing some comic thread upkeeping- since #14 of Doctor Aphra is going to be grouped with the previous arc in the TPB, we're going to keep that issue in the previous thread and use this one for #15+.

Hey gang! Actually, the Amazon listing is incorrect. The trade was solicited correctly in Previews as 9-13 plus the Annual.

well...you will be very happy with issue 14

Overall pretty inconsequential issue story wise. Definitely setting the table for how the story will continue for at least an arc and probably the year.

Beautiful, beautiful art! Thank you Marvel. This issue was wonderful. Elevated the story in my opinion. Looking forward to the new character dynamics.

Just read issue 14....I agree with tatooinesandworm that the art was well done. A different look for Aphra. Loved the last page. And I'm a HUGE fan of Ashley Witter's cover art.

Liked how they are giving some depth and background to Tolvan who is going to become a fleshed out character and we will probably all care about her plight. Liked the detail that Inspector Thanoth was her mentor. As soon as you read the arc's title "Remasterd", you just know that Aphra is now under Trip's control. Definitely an issue to set things up. Very much looking forward to getting to know Aphra's "not-so-much-my-friends" friends. Especially looking forward to the character from Rogue One (Tam Posla) and the one that looks somewhat like the pilot from the Han Solo mini.

A nice setup for the new arc. And huge props to the art and colouring, definitely some of the best we've seen so far in the new Marvel comics! This issue is pure eye candy.

So far the new writer and artist are both off to a great start! I really liked all the character development in this issue, now I'm curious where the story will go from here.
