Funny how two Canadians are sent home on the 20th anniversary of the Montreal Screwjob (yes, that is today)

James Ellsworth could possibly be done with the WWE, too. Not surprised, heard the WWE only signed him to a short term deal.

Owens and Zayne have been difficult in the past. They have places they can go though. Many places, and lots of money can be made.

Kevin Steen has improved while in WWE, but he still sucks at pretending to have a real fight. His strongest attribute IMO is his incredibly punchable face; he'd be a natural heel if he could make his behaviour and psychology consistent.

Hopefully he can go away to RoH. I don't think Impact would be a good fit for him. Please wrestling gods, don't inflict him upon me....

I was amused the number of people tweeting Cornette and telling him he was right.

This was the opening of the Wrestling Observer newsletter 20 years ago Re: Montreal Screwjob:

It will go down in history as the single most famous finish of a pro wrestling match in the modern era. Twenty or 30 years from now this story, more than any famous wrestler jumping promotions, more than any prominent death, and more than any record setting house, will be remembered vividly by all who watched it live, and remembered as legendary from all who hear about it later. Through the magic of videotape, the last minute of this match will live forever, and be replayed literally millions of times by tens of thousands of people all looking for the most minute pieces of detail to this strange puzzle.

IMHO, I still think it is the greatest work ever in the history of wrestling.

someone needs to put a bullet in tna and end it just embarassing

there biggest show of the year and they only draw 650ppl then at the tv tapings they only draw 350 that includes a few who paid + ppl at bfg getting in free and then they went to a casting agent and had to hire ppl to rock up for 50bucks each how is this company meant too make money just amateur

then you mention the fact all there titles have a sticker over them hiding the gfw thing the promotion is in shambles. indies are in a pretty good spot so the roster would get work.

It's almost as if obsessing over attendance figures and touring profits is largely irrelevant to the success of a TV show.

LU, sort of, tours. LU is more or less the US expansion of AAA. The top talent do partake in AAA house shows in Mexico.
