Didn't they do TFA hardback first and then paperback TPB come out in the last couple weeks? So had to check.

Finally! Time to see what else is there.

What's the consensus on the last third of Aaron's run?

I know there's mixed views on OHC2's Rebel Jail and Harbinger arcs.

R1 OHC has a good enough rep for me to go for and Phasma has Checcheto.

Great! Hopefully Aphra OHC Vol 1 and a Poe Dameron (1-25, Annual 1-2) Omnibus aren’t too far behind.

Maybe a Fall of the Jedi/Republic era OHC with Darth Maul, Anakin and Obi-Wan, Mace Windu and Son of Dathomir?

abit hit and miss the yoda arc was strange and the last arc are one shots which are alot better if not underwhelming but thats just me i still enjoyed them and will be picking it up! sometimes a second read through can be better without high exception.

That's great news about the OHCs! Some observations:

-Captain Phasma OHC is just the four issues. No Storms of Crait or DJ. It looks like those may be collected with the TLJ adaptation.

-Still no Poe Dameron OHC. I'm willing to wait for an Omnibus, but it seems odd there's no standard OHC collecting the first two TPBs.

-Star Wars vol 3 OHC doesn't have The Screaming Citadel. I wonder if that'll be collected with the Ashes of Jedha as a kind of transition between creative teams.

It's also nice to see Rogue One getting an OHC; I'll be picking that up exclusively for the Special!

Im thinking we will get The screaming citadel with an Aphra OHC like what they did with vader down and vader vol 1 so the hope is an Aphra OHC cant be too far away !

Agreed. I didn't like the Yoda arc, but loved the issues of "Out Among the Stars" in their standalone kind of stories.
I also want to know about Screaming Citadel!

My expectation is Screaming Citadel will be part of Aphra OHC1

Well, it was a reasonably safe bet there'd be some eventually but the size of the gap between volumes was unusual. Even for trade-waiting.

That's not a bad idea. I'm sceptical they will go straight to Omnibus on Poe, or that his series is ending - I'd still expect OHC first.

Also, remember this update only went to the end of August 2018 - there's still four months of the year to be filled.

    Hera!

Also, does the end of Poe Dameron mean that we'll get a new ongoing starting April or May?

No problem. I think we all pretty much have known that it was going to end at issue #25 for awhile now anyways. I think 25 issues is what they are going to give most of their ongoings (with of course the acception being the main line (which they will probably use to tell the main story in all the different eras they go to)).

I can't help but notice that nothing in that blurb actually says that's the final issue. I mean, yes, it talks about "the end of an era" and that cover seems very "final issue"-like, but nothing there actually definitively says "last issue." Just putting that out there.
