I’m not sure what you are asking? I mean diary entries can be as long as you wish.

 

Can you do the diary with anyone or anything?

 

This is basically the same thing I wanted to ask. And my diary would amount to outright repetitive content for the sake of it.

I guess I'll PM all of you to see if this is allowed.

 

I like the mini-challenges and discussions but with the moving I have done this year and the moving of my mom coming I didn't have much time for them
I will start a diary in 2018 with a new character.

Congratulations to any DDCer! It must be a sweet and fulfilling thing to write 'end.'

 

@pronker - To me, it was even more satisfying than it was at the end of 2016. I thought I wouldn't make it on time, when I went off schedule because I had no strength and concentration to update, even though I had finished the whole thing in...April!

I saw that @WarmNyota_SweetAyesha is already campaigning for the voting round. Wow! That's...awesome!

Also, a suggestion to @Kahara and @Pandora - write "winner" for me in this thread, where you listed the 2016 diaries and do the same when you list the 2017 fics in the 2018 thread, for whoever wins this year's competition. Just so people would have an idea.

 

Technically I'm done as I have already posted my 48 entries and my 49th is much more of an epilogue, which will be probably posted tomorrow night. BUT I AM SUPER EXCITED TO START MY 2018 DIARY (even though I HAVE to get back to real-world responsibilities come January 2nd).

 

I think this is becoming the never ending story. I have the 24 required entries, but the story is not complete as yet. I should have it done soon.

 

That's because the mystery is so multilayered.

 

And that's why I give it a go once, two times, three times, four times, five times and then I start wondering if I'm a chicken. Layers, layers, layers...*runs away, waving hands and screaming*

If I ever do a DDC again myself, it will be a 24-entry one. Can't put up/won't put up with 36 and 52-entry ones anymore. Worn me out, both times.

 

Congratulations to those who made it to the end! I've tried to do this challenge several times and never even gotten close, so I think it's crazy impressive!!

 

Well this makes me feel better about not making it to the end.

 

Next time, take it from us who made it to the end, since all five of us this and last year made it to the end more than once...so, this is what you can do...

...WAIT. This would make a perfect discussion topic for January! And even people who don't participate this year can elaborate on it. Please, @Diary_Challenge_Sock, @Pandora and @Kahara. You love me, don't you?
