    Wow, well put Cryo.

I agree on the tonal shift, there is a lot more youthful optimism in TPM, things become a little claustrophobic in a way after that.

I have posted this before, but do fans see significance in the progression of the PT DVD cover images? Like the orange fire glowing progressively less from 1-3, the Jedi's "fire going out of the universe" then a warm glow around the OT characters on the OT DVDs.
And Amidala on the Ep1 cover, a noble and benevolent ruler, is in the same place as Palpatine on Ep3; a tyrannical and cold dictator.

Anyone want to add on to or debate anything in the opening two posts?

Jar Jar : "It is a hidden city" - Hidden from the Republic
Jar Jar: "Wesa got a grand army..." - Padme gets an army from here.

"If it an item doesn't appear in our records...it doesn't exist" - Hidden from the Jedi and the Republic.
"...I will create a grand army " - Palpatine gets an army from here.

I'm just putting something out here since things are really quiet.

    Not bad.

As an experiment I watched TPM and AOTC simultaneously one time, and one very interesting sync up was that Anakin leaving Shmi in TPM happens at the same as Shmi's death in AOTC. I would be surprised to hear this wasn't intentional when you see in behind-the-scenes prequel production that Lucas had all six films playing at the same time on one screen. Pretty impressive.

I'm actually astounded that you have that kind of time/screens/attention.

    Ha.
Well I've been on the forums since '05 and Revenge of the Sith was my favourite film at the time.
Come on, it's Star Wars ;)
