Awards 2018 Awards Introduction and a Call for Volunteers

@WarmNyota_SweetAyesha - You're sweet and supportive, but I sucked last year. Once I got well again, I had so many things to sort out, so the only serious reviewing I did was probably in January and February.

 

Aaand...I realised it's missing only now.

 

Thanks to those who offered to help out with the awards!

Findswoman and Raissa Baiard are going to be helping us out so please everyone give them your thanks! It can be lot of work and they are volunteering their time to make great awards for everyone!

As usual, I offer my GIFs as prizes.

 

I wish I could be helpful this year but between my family, my busy job, and this course which is beating me up, I’m afraid I won’t be able to do it justice.

 

I would love to offer fic-gifts for those winners who choose that as a prize.

 

I contributed a little something, because I needed some occupational therapy doing the kind of stuff that I love (and I can't understand why I love it) and I wanted to give something back to the people who were like that "Army" from the Ellie Goulding song, when I was at my worst. I got understanding, support and love from so many folks, I mended some burned bridges and I just had to do something in return. Plus, I bailed out of half things I had promised for awards back in May, as my condition worsened during the ceremony week and I was feeling so poorly that I could not remember how to edit an audio file, not to mention that my abiliFy to read decreased. And I feel somewhat responsible for that too.

But despite all of the above, I still want to do some prizes, too. Perhaps event the audio, that I couldn't last year.

Sorry for the lame word game. I'm trying to turn a disastrous year into, I dunno, fun.
