I would have loved it if 3PO was taken hostage by Kylo. Ahhh...Grandfather's first toy!! Now its mine. Let the hilarity ensue. I'd watch 2 hours of 3PO telling Kylo all sorts of facts and odds.

 

C-3PO: "....and this is the spot on the Falcon that you were conceived Master Ben."

Kylo Ren: "NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

C3PO isn't important enough this trilogy for that ;p

It will probably be BB-8 being chased around the falcon by Kylo like a tom and jerry cartoon

 

Chewie still has a few hundred years left in him so he should be good.

The Droids, Falcon, and Chewbacca were all totally wasted in TLJ. I actually thought all were utilized well in TFA, and set them up well to have interesting roles, but TLJ squandered that, with Chewbacca doing nothing, R2D2 getting only one moment, totally throwing out the potential of his reunion with Luke, and the Falcon having almost no role of any interest, Rey doesn't even get to fly it.

C3PO did have a good movie. That's not saying much.

 

R2 was barely in this movie or TFA.

 

Well there would have been more if Luke didn't get killed off in this movie. I think the reunion with him and R2, while short, was golden.

 

I never knew the quota system applied to droids and spaceships.

 

The fact that they reused the same stuff from ANH is great.

 

The Falcon got a cool flying scene near the end, and though R2 had only a marginal more of a presence than in TFA, at least it was a scene.

I've always felt that if we ever get around to the final final last ever Star wars movie--and god only knows if/when that'd happen--the very last scene should be R2, aged and rusted but still chugging on, starting to transcribe things to an old whill, probably some sort of hermit. "It all began with Jedi, and royalty..."

 

I'm pretty sure Chewie will die like a hero in IX

 

Hopefully without a moon falling on him?

When are we going to see Chewie rip someone's arm off. Hope JJ doesn't disappoint.

 

I figure that may be part of the Lore, but on screen it's probably to ghastly.
I suspect they filmed that scene for TFA, then in the editing room thought "oh god no" and clipped it out.

 

Maybe Unkar Plutt will try to take his revenge on Rey and he comes in and rips his arm off?

 

Saving the son of his oldest friend? Yeah. it worked for me.

 

I do not have a problem with it in legends I was just wondering if you wanted the same death in canon.
