My internet is ******.

My router is dead. I switched of everything at the plug, as I figured the technician would ask me to do so at some point, and when I re-powered some hours later, it was the only item showing zero signs of life.

Any content seen from me, has been painstakingly brought to you, by the words "smartphone", "£20 credit", and "back-ache".

 

Hang in there buddy. Any ETA on when you can get a new router?

Here in the USA, our routers are usually provided free with the company you subscribe to. Now, they're nothing special, but they get the job done for the basics. Anything beyond the general needs (i.e. gaming, business use, etc.), you would need to buy your own router.

 

A free router is supposedly on its way to me.

Counting the weekend, been 5 days.

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to have Colbea respond to the Rebel leader. On the to-do list for this weekend!

 

My wife's mother passed away unexpectedly this morning while I was at work. We just got home 2 hours or so ago from her father's house; my planned posting for tonight & Saturday will (understandably) be delayed until Sunday or early next week (Tuesday or Wednesday) while I help my wife through her grieving process. I have Monday & Tuesday off work to help my wife, her immediate family (flying in town from across the USA), & attend the private viewing for her mother. I may be able to squeeze in a post or two one of those days, depending on how everything lands in terms of scheduling.

Anyway, my router was never ordered, so I wasted a week, waiting for something that was never going to come.

Again, apologies, I will get a post up soon. Life's been a little hectic at moment, though clearly not as hectic as it has been for some. I do hope Bravo and wife are doing better now.

 

Internet is back.

 

Okay, my family situation is getting back to normal...ish. My wife is returning to work this week and I should be able to get back into the swing of things by tomorrow night (Tuesday). Sorry for the delay.

 

Normal...ish takes about a week apparently. Sunday, I went out and filmed with The Valiant Few---that was the only time all last week that I didn't get home from work and go already right to bed. Even Saturday was a road wreck it seemed like. So, with all that complaining, I am hoping to get online and be back to normal ( ) by Wednesday/Thursday this week.

I am extremely sorry for the delay. DRL has been kicking my arse the last 3 weeks.

 

So......

My computer died on Friday. I've replaced the necessary out-dated hardware, but my hard-drive may be next. In light of that, that's why I haven't been online---no computer. I'm hoping to be jumping back online this Monday (tomorrow). Keep your fingers crossed!
