Can you either confirm or deny that this will include a manufacturer and a designation other than "hammerhead corvette"??

Manufacturer and class name are provided. Unfortunately, there appears to be a pretty obvious typo on the length, but otherwise it is a great entry.

In the case of vehicles that existed during Legends, are there any changes from what we knew before?
Did they use kilometers instead of meters? Sigh, we're never going to see the end of the maximalist size debates now! ;-)

No, it's a case of simply putting a size that is over double (or more... I'll check tonight) what we see on screen in a movie with CGI models. It's an honest mistake, I don't fault them. It's hard to copy edit books, stuff can slip through the cracks. I actually need to email DK, that way they can hopefully fix on future printing! :)

Too bad a Hammerhead was shown in scale with an ISD in Rogue One, then. :p

Let's just say I think the Hammerhead's length was confused with the old Legends Hammerhead cruiser. ;)

Didn't they used a TOR Hammerhead in The Rebel Files? Not that I'm complaining, but...

Oops. That's a pretty big size gap. I guess that means we can assume the TOR era Hammerhead Cruiser is the same length as it was in legends

The image of the Hammerhead is a gorgeous shot of the VFX model from RO. While the size is clearly wrong, the image, coupled with the new class name, make it a really cool entry.

That was an ISD? I thought it was a SSD?

I mean look how big the Hammerhead is now! It has to be.

One other hint- two classic Mon Cala cruiser names are re-canonized. Both serving at Endor. ;)

    Defiance, Independence, Maria, Reef Home?
    Ardent, Silent Water, Wavesong?

Nice to see the ship cataloging thread will be getting some love soon.

These cryptic hints are easily the best marketing for this book.

Note, top level were confirmed ones at Endor. Bottom three - on my list of ships I hope are present (Ardent is the wingless Liberty).

Confirmed in the old EU, not in current canon. However, two of them are being recanonized AND confirmed to have been at Endor. ;)

This book got any ships that have never actually been named before?

I would have a few questions, but I'm not sure if you could answer them:
    1) Do droid starfighters/tanks/walkers get entries?
    2) Do we finally get a clear answer about the AT-DP's role? The "defending imperial installations" that's been used by pretty much all the sources is pretty vague, especially since in the show they are mostly deployed as attack vehicles.

Nick are you able to answer which vehicles specifically are not in the book or is even that too much information for an NDA?

    No, there is not.

Yes, most droid fighters are listed. Ditto tanks and walkers. The AT-DP is given an entry, I honestly don't recall much about it, I was more focused on the capital ships.

Well, a few are missing for sure. For example, the Profundity and Home One get entries and class information, but there is nothing on the Liberty. The three smaller Resistance capital ships from TLJ aren't in the book, but the Raddus is. There is 1-2 missing Separatist ships too.

The book isn't perfect and isn't 100% comprehensive, but I like the thought that went into it and the effort to tie things into canon. I'll share two quick examples of this, since I've mostly been teasing the book:
    • In the Home One entry, the Defiance and Independence are recanonized as having been at Endor.
    • The Emperor's SSD Eclipse, first mentioned in Aftermath, is confirmed to be an Executor-class.
These are the sorts of things I love! I'll take these all day and gladly overlook minor typos on lengths, number of weapon emplacements, etc. It's the lore that makes me happy. [face_peace]

Presumably they're MC80As like Home One. That would make the four MC80As that are confirmed as appearing on screen, Home One, Nautillan, Defiance, and Independence (I think we know it's at least that many because two were visible from the bridge of Home One after the destruction of the Nautillan?)

Rebel Files confirmed the Eclipse as an Executor, IIRC

One other cool tidbit- more ships escape Scarif that we see jump on screen. We learn that the Dornean gunship that almost collided with the Devastator does escape the battle.

Sent a tweet to Pablo Hidalgo asking if the other ships around the Profundity managed to get away while the flagship was being pounded and the escort frigate was destroyed, yet to hear a response.
