I mean both Ezra and Sabine were Child soldiers so was Sato’s Nephew.

 

And Ahsoka and all the other padawans in TCW too I guess. A highly moral lot, those Jedi and rebels.

 

The clones could also be seen as such if you want to go there.

 

That's the Rebellion for ya, using child soldiers, intimidation and terror, IEDs, suicide attacks, human shields, etc.

Perhaps even executing prisoners of war. Do we know what they did with those captured stormtroopers in the A Fool's Hope episode after all?

 

They did Stop the ewoks from eating the troopers though.

Most likely force sensitive, also of note his name is spelt Jacen like Jacen Solo.

 

We'll all be sucked in once again and new series is announced, new stories, drama, theories

 

So, what kind of weapons were the robeless Red Guards using against Ezra in the finale?

And this episode answered a question I've had for a while.

"Does Ezra know that the Emperor is a Sith Lord?"

"I know who you are. What you are."

 

He most likely deduced that from last episode in the world between worlds.

 

I thought I'd seen a Pablo tweet saying that to him, it "looked" like Jacen was around 5 or 6 and that the scene was more or less just after Endor (he didn't state it definitively but his guess is better than the blogger mentioned above, I'd reckon).

There are now quite a few canon post-Rebels Hera appearances now with no references to Jacen -- I know of the current Aphra comic arc, the IDW Leia comic, and the Forces of Destiny short set on Endor. There's nothing literally wrong with that, but she would have been caring for a very young child during at least some of those stories. I wonder to what extent the folks who wrote those stories knew they were dancing around that issue (particularly the Aphra one which is still ongoing).

 

My main issue with the finale is that I absolutely did not want to see Ezra personally defy Palpatine and that's where the show went. I'm sorry but that's Rebels once again stepping onto Luke's ROTJ story. Ezra personally defying Palpatine undermines Luke doing so and Dave should have known better than that. I'm fine with Ezra surviving but Ezra never should have crossed paths with Palpatine OR Leia on this show.

That being said, I thought this was a great finale and loved seeing all the characters gather together and the various epilogues. I never thought the space whales would return so interesting and well-done choice there. Despite botching the way he was used, Ian was great once again and the voice actors do their usual stellar work. Very epic.

 

Could no one say no to the Emperor then?
