One of my favorite things in marvel is how Rachel Summers is clearly just an enormous Star Wars fan in the background of stuff. Like, when Excalibur was each stuck in different cartoons, Rachel was Luke Skywalker and had a lightsaber duel with Dark Phoenix Darth Vader. Or when the X-Men teleported into Paris, Rachel disguised them by convincing the French that they were just special effects for Empire Strikes Back.

@Giovs former Uni library had that problem. They had a bunch of (pretty loud) dehumidifiers running for a couple of days and got closed.

(Or, maybe they're attracted to The Dark Nest.)

 

Thanks for the awnser. I've ordered a small dehumidifier, I really hope it helps. Humidity here in my room goes from 48% up to 68% depending on the time of the day. I've already made the air circulation better by leaving a couple of windows open and leaving the fan on.
I hate to think of those tiny bugs in my beloved books

So on Saturday I went to C2E2 and it was a blast.

My friend and I got Alan Tudyk's autograph, and later on when we went to do a photo op he remembered us. (Probably helped that my friend and I have the same name).

I got some Lego figures, some posters, and best of all, a lightsaber.

 

So, here’s my hot take. The X-Men movie has been delayed because it and Episode IX are going to be one, two-part film version of this:

 

There's a new person here whose handle is @Manuel Bothans and I haven't stopped laughing about the brilliance.

 

Tag and Bink got there first, I think. Still a good name.

 

My sister's going on vacation to Costa Rica soon. She's a Jurassic Park fan, so I trolled her by telling her she should visit Isla Nublar. Unfortunately wikipedia spoiled my joke, but I had her going for a minute.

 

Every once in a great while I'll spot an @ObieTriceKenobi or a @Tupacca handle and feel a twinge of envy. I wish I was clever enough to mash up my favorite performers/musicians with a SW name into something that rolls off the tongue so nicely. Editing them together into a themed avatar to pair with the handle would be so fun, too.

 

The more I think about the recent trailer & Ron Howard's little twitter-hints, the more I look forward to the Tag & Bink & Lando: A Star Wars Story this May!
