What is everyone's favorite scene in the Solo movie?
The slave revolt on Kessel?
The space chase through the Maw?
The speeder chase on Corellia?

The Maw and the exit from Kessel were the best.

The cameo is a close second though

Han on Mimban/Meeting Chewie for the first time. Loved seeing them meet. I thought that was a blast!

Close second was Han and Lando fighting together on Kessel. That was rad.

 

I got chills when Chewie sat down in the copilots seat, I can't place the song, but it was one of the classics, I'll have pay more attention next time. That moment was absolute gold.

 

I loved the use of John Williams originals in the film, especially loved Imperial March becoming in universe Canon as part of Imperial recruitment propaganda!

 

My favorite scene might have actually been the droid rebellion. That gonk droid looking thing stomping on the mine's control panels had me cracking up.

 

For me, it was the Conveyex robbery scene. It gave me the most Western-vibes out of all the scenes in the film and was a great, tense set piece IMO.

 

Hard to say, because the film has such a non-stop flow that makes everything worthwhile. I’m going with the Kessell Run though. Especially the ending section when they finally escape. When the Falcon fell backwards, then roared to life, I was thrilled.

 

I loved the scene where they played Sabacc the first time. Everything, from the setting and atmosphere to the character interaction between Han and Lando was great.

I can't believe how disappointed I was in the Kessel Run. Was really looking forward to it.

 

I think this is because people assumed it was a race. The film has Han taking a shortcut from the standard route, and therefore it's more low key and a spontaneous decision on his part. I loved it though, especially the ending segment, which made it worthwhile for me. It really explained why the Falcon looks the way it does in the CT.

 

I loved the Kessel Run too. Fantastic piloting by Han, in combination with L3 becoming part of the ship, made it really feel like a maneuver that only the Falcon could pull off.

Opening scene. Loved it.. Or the scene where L3 dies, felt like cheering.

 

No, I had no expectations for it. I just thought it was incredibly cartoonish (esp. the kraken and the gravity well), while the rest of the film had a realistic vibe. Felt jarringly out of place to me. And the TIEs following the Falcon towards the Maw was cringe-worthy to me. Clearly a thinly-veiled excuse to get the gun turret going again. There was zero story reason for the TIEs to pursue.

Agreed on the opening. Best part of the film for me, though it needed an extra 5 minutes, IMO.

First Sabaac game. One of the best scenes in the whole of Star Wars.

 

Indeed. The Kessell Run had to be something fearsome so I don’t have a problem with it seeming ‘cartoony’. The ship barely escaped and by right it shouldn’t have. If they didn’t have the added fuel boost they would’ve all died. Ships don’t take shortcuts on that route for that very reason.

 

The whole thing is one long, GREAT scene.

 

I need to see it a couple more times but so far I loved;
The speeder chase on Corellia
Han and Chewie meeting (complete with Han speaking Shyriiwook)
Fighting Enfys on the conveyex
The first sabacc game with Lando
L3 watching Qi'ra kick ass and the "Woah!"
Han jumping into the pilot seat on the Falcon
The look Han gives Chewie as they fly together for the first time
Kessel Run- Running from the TIES - Han's piloting- I love the shot where he knocks the TIE out with the Falcon

 

You couldn't predict a lot of this film, they had nice ways of keeping you guessing, but that scene, you knew Lando was going to cheat to win! I knew that couldn't be "THE" card game that Han won the Falcon in, would have been WAY too easy!

Still loved the scene, and it allowed for a repeat scenario of a great scene to give the final payoff!

 

Corellia opening was the best bit for me.
