I already like the new character Qi'ra; and I haven't even seen Solo yet.

Small universe, Hondo again and meddling with the Crimson Dawn's lieutenant.

Surprised Maul never cut his head off out of revenge for back in Florrum, he probably found him amusing....

I think this is the first FOD short I straight up didn’t like. Went by too quickly and barely had any meat to it.

Emilia voicing her character may of improved it a bit.

This episode felt like a forced connection of characters from different media. The same goes for the Maz / Hondo bits between episodes.

Didn't particularly like this short. Makes the universe feel too small. Also was that Emillia Clarke as Qi'ra? Didn't sound like her to me.

Makes you wonder how Hondo got out of this alive. Dryden Vos didn't seem like the type of guy that would enjoy Hondo's antics...

He got out of it by virtue of it not being shown, therefore whenever he reappears, we'll know he's fine and well

That, and Hondo was in Rebels, which seems to be set well after this, so he's currently got a nice set of Plot Armor

I know. Which is why I didn't like Hondo's involvement in this short. Takes away from Qi'ra and Vos.

Of course Hondo can escape from anything, he's the Most Interesting Man in the Galaxy.

I liked the short, I think it was cute. I like all the shorts really. They're nice little diversions now and then.

    This really shouldn't be canon.

Well for one IG-88's portrayal is awful in forces of destiny. It is meant to be a deadly killing machine, not bungling droid.
    Remember this?

I remember it; but that wasn't supposed to be the same IG-88 bounty hunter we see in ESB, right?

No they were two IG-86. So an IG-88, being a later model, would be even more capable and deadly. Forces of Destiny is treating IG-88 like a dumb, clunky protocol droid.

The way they've been portraying the IG droids in the new canon, I'm not even sure if there is just one individual IG-88 or if they are just a series of security/bounty hunting models made in the thousands and if so, who's controlling them? Are they just freelancing for themselves? Can anybody just buy an IG-88?

I'd rather that than him being the Death Star.

    Wrong IG-88 ;)

    @MrDarth0
This dude tries to fit the Sabine episode into IG-88's canon background but when you actually watch the episode it really doesn't fit well. This terminator machine got foiled by paint? It is slow, stupid, and can't shoot straight. And now it has been one shotted by a small blaster pistol
