+ Post-Clone Wars, the combination of the rise of the Empire and the death of most of his dearest friends as well as realizing his culpability in both slowly destroyed Jar Jar's once chipper spirit and by the time he retired, he retreated further and further away from people, becoming a hermit.

In the end, he was basically back where he started oh so long ago.

Alone. Exiled. Deep In the swamps of Naboo.

You guys are going to be so shocked in 9 when one of the Knights of Ren stabs Kylo in the back, then pulls off his helmet to reveal himself as... Jar Jar.

Yoda's species are spacefaring nomads who generally only encounter each other for procreation.

The Yuuzhan Vong never came from a different galaxy but made a giant U-turn.

Obi-Wan's time undercover as Rako Hardeen suggests that this is canon canon; he calls himself "Ben" when sending coded communications back to the Temple.

Kare Kun is a descent of Exar Kun. Its just been to long for everyone but her to notice Rey and Leia sometimes get cold chills around her but they don't think anything of it . Ben will find out Once he gets redeemed and will call her on it but he'll have no legs to stand on being the grandson of Vader

    + Count Dooku's first name is Vladym-Ir

+ By the time of Revenge of the Sith's novelization, Count Vladym-Ir Dooku was a racist, elitist, and entitled snob who had a sociopathic understanding of interpersonal relationships. He was incapable of friendship, love, or viewing anything other than personal ambition as a valid goal. This is also not REMOTELY what his personality was like while he was a Jedi Master.

Master Dooku was a pleasant, personal, gregarious man that practiced the Living Force and was known for his empathy not anger. Qui Gon Jinn loved him as a father and he loved him as a son. His complete 180 is something which caught the Jedi Council completely off guard.

+ Dooku's studies of the Sith holocrons were out of a desire to seek some sort of knowledge of where the Sith went wrong and perhaps the Jedi had regarding emotions as well as passion.

+ Ironically, he successfully purged himself of positive emotions and passions using Jedi variants on emotion suppress techniques. Sidious was greatly amused by this.

    Legends Headcanons:
    - Lumiya (who was acting out of revenge against Luke then any real desire to rebuild the Sith) had actually created a clone of Jacen Solo from skin tissue taken from the Shadow Academy during his brief stay here (she considered him a perfect candidate for a new apprentice). Jacen's lack of doubts through NJO were due to being connected through the Force to his clone. When Jacen was then captured at Myrkr, he was rendered comatose by the Yuuzhan Vong but before he could be taken to Tsavong Lah, the ship he was on was attacked and Nom Anor and Vergere were knocked out themselves. Lumiya's agents took the real Jacen and the clone Jacen was installed there (he was a perfect clone without the telltale signs he was one). This clone functioned throughout the remainder of the Yuuzhan Vong War and became a hero. Lumiya continued to watch from a distance, though the war annihilated her followers completely. This clone then went off to find the different Force cults. The connection between the real and clone then faded as the clone truly believed (as did the entire family, Jaina's connection always felt different though she denied it for years) he was Jacen. What became of the real Jacen Solo was a mystery until after the events of Crucible when the facility he was held at was found accidentally by Ben and Jaina. Jacen had been cryo frozen the entire time and thus still looked 18. He was freed and was horrified by what had occurred in the meantime, particularly when it was clear that something was driving the galaxy to pieces following the Yuuzhan Vong War. He eventually rejoined the Order and married (not Tenel Ka) to have more kids, though struggled to redeem his name as most people found it troubling he had been replaced with a clone. Jaina, Ben, Tahiri and Tenel Ka remained supportive of him.
    - Vergere was never a Sith, though her time with the Yuuzhan Vong and being closed from the Force left her cynical. The being that Lumiya, A'sharad Hett and even Tahiri during her imprisonment was another Dark Side being who took the form of Vergere because his real form would drive people to insanity. This was the being who then steadily drove the character derailment we saw post-NJO. Luke, Leia and Han dealt with him after Crucible and the galaxy healed itself better. The Dark Side being actually forced the removal of Traest Kre'fey and the GA to move their capital back to Coruscant way-way-WAY too early and then had the Jedi Temple built deliberately to boost the egos of the Jedi as well as make the rest of the galaxy resented it. Lumiya, the One Sith and Tahiri's mindset were the result of this being.
    - Tahiri and Ben actually reconciled what she did to him and his reactions during their 'torture session' sometime between the Second Galactic Civil War. Ben had kept the trauma to himself and Tahiri's guilt eventually led them to burst out. They both argued about it and Ben nearly Force shoved her. It was only thanks to a timely intervention by Anakin's ghost that they stopped. Both don't remember much else of the incident or Anakin's presence there but this is why they could work together again. Tahiri and Ben's friendship was close, so much so people thought they were together for years afterwards. (They weren't. Also Tahiri never slept with Caedus, this was merely something that was taken out of context but Tahiri honestly stopped caring by that part of the trial since she knew it was rigged).

+ Vergere WAS a Sith and studied under Emperor Palpatine but was a LS Sith. She was a great believer in pain, what did not kill you made you stronger, and the ends justify the means.

She was still a good person who wanted to help others and redeem the Vong.

    Resistance

+ General Loathsome, hero of the Separatists and later Rebel Alliance General, is the ground commander of the Resistance. He's won so many battles for the Resistance that the First Order has started calling it the "Loathsome Resistance."

    Solo

    * Han would eventually meet Weasel later on Tatooine and find out he'd been suckered. Enfys Nest is NOT a member of the Rebel Alliance and never has been. She took the fortune Han stole and used it to buy her way into Black Sun. This contributed to Han's disillusionment with causes.

+ Beckett's betrayal was motivated by a curious code of honor. Beckett believed very strongly that you do the job and you act like a professional. Beckett (correctly) believed Han's betrayal was motivated by his dislike of Dryden having a too-close relationship with his girl.

+ Dryden didn't abuse Q'ira but is a Lorridan so he's naturally touchy-feely. He was more interested in Han.

+ Beckett was semi-suicidal after Val died, having planned to retire on the money they made from it. Hence, his actions were reckless and angry.

+ Beckett did kill Aurra Sing but he was working with a Tusken Bounty Hunter named Hett.

+ Q'ira is a minor force-sensitive, enough that Maul or one of Maul's lieutenants is the one who trained her in Teras Kasi martial arts.

Allana did eventually reconcile with her father's legacy and wield his green lightsaber. Maybe he showed himself to her as a force ghost, or she had dreams or visions of him.

Ania Solo's ancestry would have revealed some massive secret of whoever her ancestor was-either she was a descedant of a clone, or Jaina, Jacen, Anakin had another child(or a child) that no one else knew about-this could mean say Jacen and danni Quee, Jacen and Tahiri, Jaina and Zekk, Jacen and say Nelani Dinn, or Wynessa Fel, or even Anakin and Tahiri. Though the latter three are extremely unlikely. Or as stated earlier-she could have been a descedant of some sort of clone-of Jacen, Jaina, Allana, or some other sky-solo. She wasn't Allana or Jaina's direct descedant-her backstory implied her ancestry was more convoluted.

Cade Skywalker's dark side affinity came from his grandmother-Vestara Khai.

    My headcanon:
Order 66 has just been realized. A young Caleb Dume has just bore witness to his Master's slaughter at the hands of her clone troops. He's obviously lost and upset; but is still determined to get through this through his Master's teachings of survival. He's hiding for what seems like an eternity until after a few days, the calmness returns and he's left alone. One day, an odd ship lands on Kaller, and a young Togrutan steps out.
    "Master Billaba?!!!!!"
    "Padawan Dume'?!!!!!!!!!!!"
"are either of you out there?!!!!"

Caleb emerges from the cave he's been hiding in for what amounted to about a standard week, and calls out to the Jedi (in my headcanon, Ahsoka never left the Order). She runs over to him and assures him that everything will be all right. They escape to an uninhabited planet in the Outer Rim, where she trains with Caleb until they hear the faint murmurs of a fledgling rebellion in the works on a Holo. They both agree to join in the battle of Gorse, where Hera Syndulla is engaged with a small group of rebels in defending the planet's moon from being blown up by the Empire. The rest of the story plays out as is for the most part; but Kanan is far more advanced in his Jedi training than he was previously.

Solo's last name isn't a play on words in SOLO.

The Imperial officer is choosing one of the most common last names in the Corellian Sector like Antilles or Fel.

Ironically, it actually was the family Han comes from.

Time for some more Legends from me :).

I actually sent a list that I dubbed "possible retcons" to @AdmiralNick22 in 2013 though looking back they were more like headcanons.

I've located it again and taken out what has more-or-less doesn't make sense anymore.

    - Toryn Farr would go on to become senior controller at New Republic Military Command after the capture of Coruscant.
    - Brandei, the logistics officer on the Executor who Venka and Piett were hovering over during the bounty hunter visit, was actually Captain Brandei of the Judicator's nephew (he looked way too young to be in his late-thirties to early-forties in the film).

Speaking of Ken, I always liked the idea that he grew up to be Kenth Hamner, even if the ages are completely incompatible. Also that Ken's full name really needs to be Ken Palpatine.

I read this as "Galen and Jyn arrive at Dantooine with Vader" and got very confused for a second.

    I added:

    * Triclops is actually not Palpatine's physical son but the result of him being an early (failed) clone by Palpatine. The Dark Side energies had warped his DNA considerably and cloning a Force User is difficult.

    * Palpatine let him live because he was useful and because he was part of the Maw experiments.

    * Ken aged at an accelerated rate once he hit puberty. Hence, his age in Fate of the Jedi.

    * Palpatine was largely asexual as an older man but Sarcev Quest is one of his children from Naboo. Meaning Irek Ismaren was actually his grandson.

I'm not a deep Legends guy past the NJO series, so mine are pretty basic.

    - The Fetts are Mandalorians. The whole culture was made up along with Boba, so for them not to be part of it is just silly.
    - Any story in any continuity where Luke and Vader meet or especially duel between SW and ESB is a story that shouldn't be canon (I know, too bad for me, but it just doesn't track with what's on screen).
-Now that Skorr has vaguely appeared onscreen in FOD, he is "the" bounty hunter of Ord Mantell again and that story is basically what happened in the Goodwin/Williamson newspaper strips.
-Ditto with Jaxxon; in fact my tendency is to view any basically "standalone" stories of the 70's/80's spinoffs as canon when they affect nothing else. As in, the Daley Solo novels and Lando novels, canon; SOTME, not; Goodwin/Williamson strips largely canon; early Marvel comics mostly canon up through the ESB adaptation. Obviously, stuff like biped walrus Jabba aside.
-Yaddle was actually a puppet IU. I can think of dozens of reasons for this to be true so I'm rolling with... one of them.

    Here's my take on that:

Triclops is literally just Palpatine's son with Sly Moore. He was born in 17 BBY, and the reason he has white hair in 5 ABY is because he's Umbaran. Triclops conceived Ken in 7 BBY when he was about 10 years old, but Umbarans mature slightly faster than baseline humans, so he was biologically/emotionally closer to around 14. Triclops was killed after crashing Han and Leia's first wedding. Ken was part of the first class at the Jedi Praxeum but died during Desann's attack on Yavin in 12 ABY.
