I’m sorry I reallyyy don’t like that title. I’m sure the book will be great though.

Assuming it’s bc of the different fighters. All of the letter wings.

    B U X Y and A wing for the 5 pilots

Why they didn't go with the classic title Star Wars: BUXYA I just don't know.

Well, Twilight Company is my favorite new-canon novel hands down, so I am in - silly title or not. Cannot. Freaking. Wait.

This could turn out to be great. Maybe even starting a series if it sells well and gets good feedback. I haven't read anything by Freed, but he seems to have a proven track record with Star Wars.

I'm looking forward to this one! I loved Freed's previous work and pilot stories are always fun. Any indication if this is pre or post Jakku?

Glad to see the U-wing. I think it's one of the best ship designs from the new movies. Probably my second favorite after the Resistance Bombers, which I think also are supposed to be used in the civil war era, so I'm also sad they aren't one of the choices for the cover.

I'd hope it's post-Jakku, not least because we seem to be moving into that period with current content (Last Shot, The Mandalorian....) and a group of Rebels hunting down Imperials sounds like it might tread on Aftermath's toes a little, especially if it's in the 4-5 ABY slot.

I hope Freed will include at least some Star Wars Uprising references in that!

I'm sorry but this title is quite frankly ridiculous. My first thought was alphabetti spaghetti! I think it might change....

But yes can't wait for Freed on this, first writer to get three Del rey books in the new canon?

Also chance to bring back the E-wing outside of a picture in a comic

Aurebesh Squadron would have made more sense, but the premise sounds awesome.

    Still,

    1977: ANH Released.
1997: Don't worry, we removed that English text on the tractor beam controls.
    2019: Alphabet Squadron!

Can't wait for them to encounter a nebula and dive into that soup.

Yeah. This is exciting. Just upset 2018 isn’t getting a final book.

Alexander Freed is perfect to write this. He did a solid job with Twilight Company, but his novelization for Rogue One is one of the best things ever.

The prospect of seeing a mixed group of Rebel fighters (err... New Republic, considering the setting) is just too cool. I'll echo the U-wing love. I was so stoked with Chuck Wendig mentioned U-wings as part of the New Republic assault on Jakku. I love those things.

A mixed group of Rebel fighters just means this is meant to evoke every multiplayer SW flight game ever. ;)

This is the coolest-sounding book with the worst-sounding title I can remember being announced for SW in quite some time.

There'll never be a better opportunity to bring E-Wings, K-Wings, and H-Wings into canon!
