I really hope Tolvan won't sacrifice herself to save Aphra from Vader.

 

The annual was pretty sweet, big giant monster although there was more of the monster hunting pair than Aphra but I loved the slow reveal of what happened to the other ones / where she was. Also monster made during the Hundred Year Darkness!

 

Hundred year darkness stories really needs to happen.

First time seeing a conflict that long lasting in Star Wars. Long enough that adults would be fighting in a war that started before they were born.

I’m curious to see how early dark Jedi would be handled. Basically form into the Sith in the early years of the war? Or does it take years, perhaps sometime after the war (like in Legends) for Sith society to exist.

 

I like to believe that the sith is older in canon then in legends. It could begin with someone be overcome with the dark side be fuel by it to the max, seing as this very long ago maybe the mortis gods can be involved.

'Twas a good issue. I'm looking forward to a good finale. I don't read solicitations for future issues ahead of time, but seeing there is more coming kind of infers that they won't be killing off the main character anytime soon, especially since this series along with the current Vader and Star Wars run are the only other two comics that currently have arcs. Everything else seems to be a small run which come with its pluses as well as its minuses.

 

A bit off-topic, but I already posted this question in the toy and collectibles thread multiple times and never got an answer.

When will the Aphra action figure be released? Can't find any info about that on Hasbros homepage.

Looks like it's already out. I found it on Amazon as well as eBay.

 

The 3.75" Aphra on the Vintage Style Cardback is currently popping up in Walmarts in the US.
The 3.75" Aphra, 0-0-0, and BT-1 set was exclusive to SDCC and can probably only be found on eBay now.
The 6" Aphra, 0-0-0, and BT-1 will be released as single figures each in the mainline Black Series line in summer of '19.

 

Great succession of things going very, very badly and I do like that Aphra is willing to sacrifice herself to save people. Great slow dawning realization of how screwed she is and it'll be awesome since all 3 of her main baddies happen to be gunning for her at that exact moment.

 

The droid’s entrance has to be one of my favorite parts of the series imo

 

I love this series so much. The only series I am actively looking forward too each month. (I loved Poe but some of these others can get stale.)

 

I'm going to make a prediction about the next issue. I believe that BT-1 will be destroyed.

Woah.

I swear, Charles Soule and Simon Spurrier are trying to one-up each other in the "most metal Star Wars comic issue" category this month.

 

I swear i'm gonna have some scars after reading that one. Just... Woah.

 

This was a very good Issue

 

Triple Zero for most despicable villain in the NEU imo.
Also, the arc didn’t go the way I expected it to but can’t wait to see the way things go from here.

 

Each time I think Aphra finally hits rock bottom, she manages to tunnel a little deeper. It's impressive really. But I hope after this we do start to see her go down some sort of path towards redemption.

It will be very interesting to see what becomes of Tolvan in the hands of the Rebels. That she thinks she murdered Aphra... damn. I'm looking forward to seeing Hera and Tolvan intereact.

I mean, 80% of the current cast is gay or just not straight. And they're just as miserable as the straight cast members. So I wouldn't worry about it.

 

True enough! It's just that I feel particularly sorry for him, I guess.
