ST What would get you so mad that you would walk out of Episode IX?

Okay, I have been away for a while. I am the originator of "What would get you so mad you would walk out of Eppy II, Eppy III, Eppy VII, Eppy VIII and an Indiana Jones thread. I am here to add levity.

So... "What would make you so mad that you would walk out of Eppy IX"?

If I see ghost force Luke with his robotic hand... I'm walking out.

If Darth Plagueis doesn't appear in the movie

The only movie I've ever walked out on was Uncle Buck-and it wasn't my choice, my mom took us out of there cos she thought (10 minutes in) the movie was too vulgar for our age. I myself have never walked out of a film. I mean one time my friends and I even sat thru Rugrats in Paris for crying out loud! But there have been occasions where I see a movie that I'm not all that interested in, but then seeing how the climax resolves kind of helped redeem the movie for me. So that's why I always give it the full run.

However, I suppose the one thing that would make me "metaphorically get up and leave" would be if we...no...Actually I guess I don't really have anything I would straight up not accept. I'm willing to sit my butt down in the theater and give it every last second until the iris out before I decide what I think of it. I have my preferences, sure-but there are other threads for that!

Star Wars on opening night is way to expensive to walk out on. Especially if you get popcorn, pop and candy (which I will). Worse comes to worse I'll just sit there disappointed for 2-3 hours. I'm from Chicago so I'm used to sitting there for 3 hours disappointed watching our sports teams.

 

I would never walk out on SW. But if Rey and Kylo kissed I might not watch the new trilogy. I mean I would anyway but I wouldn't want to.

Considering that the director's name appears at the end of the film, I'll be leaving regardless of whose name appears.

 

Sorry to say, but this is one of the deaths I consider to be most likely in Episode IX.

Come on folks, a little levity here. Like Jawa's with Mickey Mouse ears or a statue of Donald Duck on the Sith planet. Be creative.

 

If Luke's force ghost looks like Luke from the Holiday Special, I might be tempted to walk out.

 

Episode 9 could be an ewok musical and I'm still watching the whole thing.

Episode IX: The Stepford Jedis

 

JJ is putting Yub Nub back into canon.

 

I have yet to decide if I shall go to the theater. I probably will, though I have zero emotional investment at this point.
List of things that would be dealbreakers to the point where I would walk out:
- Superweapon (and even better if it is Starkiller Base II on a desert planet this time)
- Force Ghosts affecting stuff even while dead (Yoda force lightning for example)
- Plot twist = Anakin is not dead, he survived ROTJ and shows up with a New Jedi Order of 100 Jedi Knights to save the day (that would actually be great)
- Snoke = Jar Jar Binks
- All the characters are grey and the movie is going towards a "no more Jedi" ending

 

Jar Jar can't be Snoke because he was Snoke's master.

 

Honestly, any major retcon of TLJ. (For example, Luke or Snoke isn't dead) I wasn't a fan of the movie's direction but what's done is done. Now a different Rey parentage isn't included in this since it would be plausible and allegedly what J.J. had in mind when heade TFA in the first place.

 

You can take the popcorn and candy home with you if you want.
