Animated Shorts Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures

This one is awesome. It's great to see the snippet of Yoda vs Sidious. I know that these are done for ittle kiddie's but man when Friday gets around I get excited just to see what new ones come out. Very good stuff.

 

Where's Dak? Fun episode though.

These are so, so good.

But Dak being completely glossed over is a crime against humanity.

 

Found it kinda silly that the "We've lost Phoenix 1 & 2" was barely synced up with their respective destruction.

I bet Phoenix 2 was like "What do you mean I'm lost?!" right before they got blown to smithereens

 

Wow, that was dark!

 

Holy ****. That ending with Vader's TIE floating through the wreckage, remnants of the Imperial March played softly on a piano echoing as we see the fire reflecting off of his mask. Incredibly beautiful, and absolutely bone chilling.

 

So that’s our first short that wasn’t based on one of the movies..... they’re branching out!

Interesting how official screen there uses the Malgus/Old Republic game's Sith Empire logo(that the First Order also uses the outline of) hidden behind the Sith Lords.

 

I'm certainly starting to appreciate these more, though they're clearly exaggerated, and some liberties are being taken. They continue to feel very much like the Tartakovsky CW shorts. I can see how viewing these clips might hook a kid into watching the OT, especially if they've never been introduced to it before.

 

Loved the Han Solo one. Now I’m gonna wait to see complaints about the revisionist take that depicts Han Solo as having disregard for the safety of women droids and wookies in the falcon as they get bounced around. And he smirks in the end. That never happened in the original movie!

Anyway. Love all of these. I need more. And I want them now.....I may break into song.

 

GOA should go into Legacy in this animation style.

 

These folks should do the next animated Star Wars TV series. So good.

 

This is one of the reasons why I am disappointed with celebration. I figured these guys should be talking to Titmouse in order to get an animated series going. (You know over 20 minutes please and not the little shorts). What they have done with the GOA is beyond anything I've seen on the animation front for star wars. Furthermore, there Niko and the Sword of Light series on amazon is just gorgeous. This is the kind of news I was hoping for and its been dead on this front. Heck, I don't think they are even in Chicago for Celebration.

Wonderfully done! I would love to see Darth Maul vs.Qi Gon Jin and Ben.Then perhaps,stuff from the EU.They're a kid's show I don't think they would be tied down to continuity.Imagine if we get afew Old Republic shorts!
