Hmm, I've seen people say that so far, the 21st century is more difficult than the early 20th century.....nah I'd rather not work under awful job conditions at age 9 (I did help work in Tyson chicken houses, 5 to be exact, a lot at age 9, but that's because I was bored and wanted money, and the working conditions weren't bad) or fight in a World War. :p

I mean that is the only thing Disney or any company for that matter cares about is the money. They could careless about the reviews so long as they make money

Captain Marvel will almost certainly make a billion at the box office and become the 39th movie to make over a billion

What a crime it will be if Captain Marvel makes more at the box office than Wonder Woman-

Then again Somehow the Transformers and Fast and Furious movies have also made gazillions, so the public has poor taste.

Looking at the Wikipedia pages, it looks like Captain Marvel has already made about as much as Wonder Woman.

    Incomplete: Stan Lee
No Jack Kirby? No deal. For that matter, it's better to view Marvel alongside its equally expansive and iconic counterpart, DC, as a universe with a couple-three (or more) influential figurehead creators.

    Not admissible: Walt Disney
Did he create a singular storied "universe"? Not really. It's not as if, say, Snow White, Dumbo and Mowgli share some larger storied backdrop. What Disney created was more of a studio legacy.

    Overrated, at best:
    Akira Toriyama
    Satoshi Tajiri
    George R.R. Martin
    J.K. Rowling

    The Respectables:
    J.R.R. Tolkien
    C.S. Lewis
    Gene Roddenberry

    Other Respectables not listed:
    Frank Herbert
    Stephen King
    Isaac Asimov
    Robert H. Heinlein
    James Gurney
    Michael Ende
...this list could go on and on, if I had the time.
    Hear, hear...

    My Top 5:
    5. Jordan Weisman
    4. Tom Clancy
    3. Edgar Rice Burroughs
    2. Robert E. Howard

I actually kinda wish Disney would reinvest in a traditionally cell-animated fantasy adventure with Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto as its leads, and featuring Minnie and Daisy as well. Maybe something like Kingdom Hearts, sure (I know that's what everyone is thinking), but without all the eccentric Japanese s ** t.
