Celebration is headed back to Anaheim in 2020. Here is the place to discuss any and all plans people have for it.

Sweet! I figured it'd be either Anaheim or Orlando. Didn't think there was any way they'd open theme parks near both, have a huge panel for them, then not get that free boost in attendance by not having Celebration within distance.

Either way, can't wait! Was there a time fram or just "2020"?

Just 2020, but I feel that it is more free to be at a different time as they don't have the whole "April For First Trailer Of New Film" standard to worry about next year.

Not that I saw. The last three Celebrations now have been in April, so I would assume that's a safe bet.

If so, I suppose that means that tickets will be going on sale in a few months?

Yeah it'd be around June again if this was anything to go by. Time to save up again almost immediately lol.

Isn’t Anaheim a smaller venue than either Orlando or Chicago, therefore fewer tickets available for sale?

Yea, we should expect news on a set date and when tickets go on sale pretty soon from now.

Anaheim is a decent size. It's about the same size as Orlando. The demand for 2020 might be greater though, so definitely expect tickets to go fast.

I'm a couple hundred negative after this one so a second job may be in order. My son is definitely hooked though. I hope to be in Anaheim next year!

I'm already planning my budget as well. I couldn't make it to Chicago but I'm hoping I can meet all of you in Anaheim next year!

I'm likely out with the quick turnaround and it being on the other side of the country, but we'll see.

Trying to figure out the budget for my family rn lol, because if I don't do it, my parents won't get to it in a long time. I got six siblings tho, so it's looking pretty costly. [face_plain] I mean, we don't all have to go, but we also kinda do, :p

You and @Padme501st say that now, but you'll start to feel that pull as it gets closer. It'd be great to have you guys there!

If you can swing it, try to convince your family that if you all go then Disneyland could happen as well.

Anaheim will definitely be a more costly trip than Chicago in terms of the plane ticket (flying from NY), the hotels (I stayed at a hostel in Chicago that was actually fairly nice and clean and some attendees as roommates, but I may not get so lucky next time), and the fact that I’ll be compelled to spend money on Disneyland. So I’ll start saving when I get back home, but first things first: securing an all day pass for Celebration 2020.

We'll see. I'd hate to miss it, but I do dread the flight and trying to handle a 3.4 year old...but the allure of being with all of you may transcend my family fears!

...I did just try and book hotels for multiple weekends in case they picked any April weekend so maybe that's my answer haha.

I'm looking at the Hilton at the Convention Center but it says no rooms are available during multiple weekends in April.

WonderCon is April 10-12, so that weekend is obviously ruled out.
