So if I may ask, how did the Hotel charge your card? For me at the Hyatt Regency they charged the amount each day...

I checked out on Tuesday and still haven't been charged. I was at the Marriott Marquis. I'm nervous that they think I'm still there and I'm racking up nights still.

I stayed at the Marriott Marquis also and checked out on Monday. As of last night I hadn't been charged but I've checked again first thing this morning and the charge is now showing on my credit card account.

We made non Onpeak reservations too, to Palmer House, they took the monet right there, but had added Weds. and the price went way up! but it was corrected. my room had quite a few issues that I didn't expect for a prestigious hotel. I addressed them quickly, but don't know if they will be addressed. I wish I could've stayed closer to the con. center.

 

I made the reservation via Onpeak for the Marriott Marquis. Checked out on Sunday and my bank was charged on Wednesday.

 

I've never used Onpeak. What's the benefit of using them as opposed to booking straight from the hotel?

 

Usually cheaper.

 

It’s much cheaper to book via OnPeak as they buy the rooms at a group rate. To give an example I booked 6 nights via OnPeak & 2 nights direct with Marriott and the direct nights were more than double the OnPeak rate.
