I've never bene much of a fan of the Marvel movies and I don't know if I'm excited for the next one or not.

But hey, enjoy Endgame. I'm sure it'll satisfy a lot of people. :)

    No spoilers:

About as far back as I can remember I've been a Marvel fan. Since at least the early 80s with "Spider-man & His Amazing Friends" and "The Incredible Hulk" on Saturday mornings, and comic book racks at the local 7-11, before I could even read. It's been a long journey, with characters that feel more like old friends than fictional creations. I spent a lot of that time debating/dreaming with friends about what it would be like if Hollywood ever actually made (good) movies about them. What stories would they do? Who would they cast? What would we most want to see? But, we knew it would never happen. No one but us would ever be interested in watching them, and Hollywood goes where the money is. Then it DID happen, with varying degrees of success, in the late 90s/early 2000s. I was excited to be seeing even the bad ones, having been a fan for so long. The next thing you know Marvel had started their own studio and launched a plan to create a "Cinematic Universe" with the characters they hadn't licensed off yet. And, starting with Iron Man of all people. An odd choice back then. I was excited/skeptical/hopeful/nervous all at the same time. What did Marvel know about being a movie studio? Who cared about Iron Man but diehards? Who had even heard of him? Then I saw it, and it was the beginning of something that has brought me closer to those old dreams than I ever thought possible. There were my old friends brought to life before my eyes, and the world was embracing them. Since then I've been there opening night for every single film, just like I was last night. Last night I saw a film that wasn't just a film, it was a culmination and celebration of that journey I started over 35 years ago. It was a homecoming. It was a dream fulfilled. That may sound sappy, corny, ridiculous. I don't mind. I feel no embarrassment. I feel grateful.

    I love this movie 3000.

Have you ever seen the live action tv show (partly released as vhs home video) 'The Amazing Spider Man' with Nicholas Hammond? That was from late 70's/early 80's and the first show I saw. Terrible effects, but I loved it back then. :)

Endgame was meh. The last hour was pretty good, though.

The first half of Endgame is antidepressant brutal. The writers obviously inspired by the series "The Leftovers".

But that was an interesting angle to see. Not fun, but interesting.

I don't know if Star Wars:Endgame can match the "And here is absolutely everybody who has been in every movie" ending.

I freely admit that after End Game, TROS feels kinda like a letdown.I really wish it would been backwards. TROS came out this month and End Game came out in December. I am still looking forward to seeing TROS but been saying since the year began that it wasn't the thing I am most interested in seeing this year (End Game and the final season of GoT were) and after seeing End Game that has not changed.

It’s still months away. I’m a huge fan of TFA and TLJ, and TROS has been and remains my most anticipated thing of the year (loved Endgame too, and really excited to see how GoT wraps up) but even for me, TROS isn’t going to be at the forefront of my mind until at least October.
