Nope, it is already perfect. I just wish we could have seen it move in TCW in it's originally intended way because if it is in the Mandalorian (trying to get on topic ;)) it will be probably copied from that, which would be disappointing. Its Iike having an X-Wing that can't open its s-foils.

So it seems there was a time LFL artists thought ships should be very straight edge and block shape.

The Slave II is, bar none, one of the ugliest ship designs I have ever seen in my entire life. I like the Razorcrest design a lot; it reminds me of Jaster's Legacy from the Bounty Hunter game, which I loved as a kid.

The Slave II looks like the cargo part of the AT-AT married to a INT-4 scout interceptor, lol.

Nothing wrong with there being ugly ships in star wars. I much prefer an interestingly ugly ship over a boring ship. When I look at the Slave II or another Pursuer-class I see how it was designed by following a written description of the int-4 interceptor toy. That is interesting to me. The Razorcrest is just boring to me. I'm not wondering what any part of it could be used for. It doesn't seem to have any eyecatching features or functions. It is like a poor man's giant LAAT/i (which has many different variants and functions). Even the Halo is more interesting with it's rotatable engines and detachable fuselage section (unless the Razorcrest just copies that too).

Does it? I thought the difference in that picture compared to the ship in the show meant the rear area is removed from that picture.
    See looks much larger here.

It's just over-designed. Too much going on, with things jutting in different directions, and without a clear identity. It feels like it wants to be both blocky and organic. Sharp and smooth. A heavy duty ship that also desperately wants to be an agile fighter. But it can't make up its mind. Awkward, but not in a good and simple way. like the Falcon. The Razorcrest knows what it is, and leans into it.

Streamline the body, drop the wing/ engine angle to 90 degrees, get rid of the stripes, either make all the rounded edges sharp (or vice versa), etc. Turn it from an awkward teenager ship into an adult.

The Razor Crest can become a character in itself, as the Millennium Falcon did. It is so many things rolled in one... transport, mobile jail, assault vehicle and home.

As with most ships within this genre of movies, they're bigger on the inside than they look from the outside.

Kinda almost getting some prequels vibes from that interior shot. Not so much the ship design/console and stuff, obviously way more OT, but just something about it reminds me of some EpI stuff or something.

    Digging it.

Well, for one, it's very well maintained and clean compared to a lot of OT non-Imperial ship interiors.

It's just outside their ships look battered and beat up, easier to go unnoticed in space ports perhaps?

Reddit has a picture of a bounty hunter fighter...very nice design!!!

Looks like his rivals could have more streamlined and aggressive looking ships than the Mando's bucket.

Seeing as it's a bounty hunters ship, where do they store the bounty?

In the back? There’s no figure in the cockpit to help determine scale, so the long, thin body of the craft could be a lot wider and taller than it seems.
