I have 0.05 second rule

but apparently science does indeed say 5 seconds is indeed ok

unless it lands in like dog **** dunno what the rule is then...

It used to be .2 seconds until my Beagle Roscoe ate it. He jumped up on the table and ate my spaghetti once while I was in the phone.

he was a great hiking buddy. and he used to curl up behind my back when I slept. And he would howl when he heard fire trucks. and he would lick his b***s for like an hour.

I would sing to him. and I am not a good singer. he would wag his tail anyway.

what happened to him?

 

he made it to 16. he had congestive heart failure and arthritis, and stopped eating. I had to put him to sleep. The second worst day of my life. Abba's The Winner Takes it All came on the radio on the way home and I lost my ****.

yup, that song would do it. I've always put that song in the top 10 saddest of all time

 

he had a good run. but I miss him. I dreamt that he was still alive. He used to come out of my bedroom and look around and then see me and start wagging his tail. I've dreamt this several times .

 

I still miss my other dog, she died about 2 and half years ago now.

 

We used to have a cat named Trooper who would get into our food all the time. Once I had some sausages cooking in a pan of boiling water. I walked away for a few minutes. "Wait a minute. There were four sausages." Guess what.

 

Was Trooper incapable of feeling pain? Trying to figure out the logistics of how a cat got something out of boiling water
