Lit Asset Tracking - Cataloging named capital ships in canon (List Updated 3/19/21)

I added the Solicitude. I defaulted it to an ISD, I'd say it is like a 99% chance that is the type.

Well in that case, Dr Aphra Issue 29 had what they called an "Imperial Propaganda Flagship" named Enduring Pride. It looks like a modified Gozanti cruiser with sensor dishes near the stern and some other sensors and/or weapons on it's underside.

I added the ISD Firedrake to the list. Mentioned in the excerpt from Thrawn: Treason as the flagship of Grand Admiral Savit and the Third Fleet.

And there is another Harbinger in Thrawn: Treason...captained by Pellaeon....or is it just the Harbinger that was jacked by the Alliance after Yavin?

Likely two different ships. Pellaeon's Harbinger likely went down at Lothal.

 

Just to note, you've got the Kalpana misspelled as Kaplana. Named for the Chancellor, I assume.

Lol. Brings me to my inserting characters part.

A Star Destroyer called Revenge that kept encountering the same unit of X-wings and kept losing. From 5 ABY thru to 13 ABY, the Revenge always encountered the New Republic unit Echo Squadron no matter which task force it was assigned to and every time, it took damage because the squadron and its Y-wing counterparts of Ranger Squadron, A-wings of Central Squadron, B-wings of Bluebolt Squadron, X-wings of Hunter Squadron and C-wings (ship I created) of Bard Squadron along with several later units of X-wings, E-wings and A-wings always, always ALWAYS got past their TIE escorts and damaged to ship. Didn't help that a Mon Cal cruiser also part of every capital ship attack run alongside the 800-meter-long assault cruisers (I created them as well) working in pairs. You want unlucky, the Revenge had the worst.

 

So those ships were the equivalents of Star Trek's red shirts?

Armada's Onager expansion gave us two named ships of the class: the Rakehell and the Cataclysm. Don't think these have been added yet.

 

FFG isn’t actually canon, so those don’t count as canon ship names.

Correct. Until LFL gives an official ruling, I leave those ships off the list.

Don't get me wrong- I'd love to add them. Especially the Rebel ones, as they would in theory re-canonize some of my favorite ships from Legends. Not only that, but the only other named MC75 star cruiser is courtesy of FFG, the Aspiration.

Anyways, for the time being, those ships will be left off the list.

With ships sharing names...should they be given separate identifiers on the list?
For example...
Harbinger (3rd Fleet)
Harbinger (ship-jacked by Rebels)

 

The Revenge isn't really. It survived most of them but the final encounter, it was trapped in system by three New Republic Interdictor cruisers, three Mon Cal Star Cruisers (one of them an MC90), two assault cruisers and a dozen support craft and its luck had run out. Didn't help its final captain was only promoted to command it a week before and had never actually fought the New Republic before.
