    What have we seen before that matches that?

    If it's the Warhammer, why is it firing on Kijimi?

    Just watched the siege of D'Qar and the dreadnaughts fire bolts rather than a steady beam. Only think it could be Kijimi because it's snow covered mountains, could be another planet altogether.

    Could be salt instead of snow. That's a thing.

    They actually have the cannons that MSW was talking about on their underbelly.

    I wonder where the many X-Wings came from, considering the main fleet was destroyed during the First Order attack on the Raddus in TLJ... Perhaps they’re from Resistance sympathizers who finally responded to Leia’s emergency signal sent from Crait... :xwing:

    And that HUGE fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers looks awesome!

    Any idea of the new looking ship besides the old ones. Looks corellian.

    The X-Wings could be NR in origin I guess. Just because the Resistance was whittled down to near nothing in TLJ, doesn't mean there aren't X-Wings out there able to be brought into the fold. The NR government was decapitated, that doesn't mean they had all of their stuff on Hosnian, the factories are going to be elsewhere.

    Pearl Harbor analogy again: sucker-punch, fleet's taken out, but the ships aren't made in Hawaii. Couple of years out, you're going to have another fleet.

    The lead X-Wing (the orange AND white one) is at the Jungle Base at the beginning as is probably every other ship in that clip. There's a pic of an alien mechanic standing by an unfamiliar ship in the Jungle base so guess that it's the unidentified ship. Goodness knows where the Tantive IV came from, given that Vader captured it nearly 40 years ago the story of how it came back to the good guys better be better than for nostalgia's sake.

    Noticeably absent from that group shot is the Falcon though.

    Bold Prediction! When Finn meets up with Jannah for the first time she's going to be all, "follow me, I want to show you guys something" and she'll lead them to her base where they have a handful of ships parked.

    So, if there's any validity to JP's reddit rumours then the ship approaching Kijimi is an old bucket that our heroes got from Pasaana after Kylo takes the Falcon. Would tie in with this pic of Poe and Finn sitting in the cockpit of what looks like an older ship, possibly on Pasaana;

    The Hunk of Junk is my favorite fictional ship of all time but I have a feeling that she may be one of the highest-profile casualties in TROS... Perhaps the Falcon is used in a suicide attack to take down the flagship of the First Order and piloted by none other than Lando?

    It will be reminiscent of how ex-President Whitmore decided to sacrifice himself in the sequel to Independence Day, I think...

    I'd rather have a couple Mon Cal cruisers hammer the Sith Fleet flagship to scrap. Underdog freighters/starfighters taking down massive capital ships is kinda getting old at this point.

    So Pasaana's fairly early in the movie, and Endor's not the third act.

    This is getting really honkin' interesting.

    I'm wondering is this the same ship?
    [IMG]

    It's not the Falcon or someone else is piloting it wearing white gauntlets, it's not the Blockade Runner either, could this be also the same ship
    but elsewhere on it?
    [IMG]

    It certainly looks like an old bucket.

    So, this is the ship they procure on Pasaana then fly to Kijimi;

    [IMG]

    And this would be the troop/gunship in the siege of the Sith Planet.

    [IMG]

    I don't think Finn and Jannah are just going to sit in the cockpit watching the battle out of the windows. They are going to be involved in some ground mission somewhere.

    I think there's been a presumption by a few this was the Falcon.

    No, it's not the Falcon, I'm guessing Lando and Chewie turn up in that later with the reinforcements in tow. This little Fleet is not there to take on the SDs. There's some other motive here, possibly to get Rey to the Sith Temple where Palpatine is or to attack one particular target, much the same as the exhaust port/oscillator/Droid Control ship in previous movies.

    BTW, Threepio is in the droid repair shop on Kijimi in that picture, it's where we meet D-O.

    So is there a good reason for why Kylo gets a TIE fighter in this film? To my knowledge, his TIE Silencer from TLJ should have remained intact, unless it went down with the rest of the Supremacy.

    Looks like it may be even part of this new fleet? How he gets his hands on it who knows.
