1. Is that how y’all spell whining? As whinging? It is a weird word to spell; I always think I’m doing it wrong.

2. You’re a brave one! I lurk but don’t bother; my few attempts were met with crickets. I love TLJ but really don’t feel like explaining my positions or defending it with sources & such.

Plus, idk, it’s probably cause of horror stuff I’ve seen, but there are so many worse movies.

 

I've long since been meaning to ask; What are the circumstances, exactly, of your traveling through Europe? How do you afford all this?

Whinging and Whining are two different things, a whinge is almost always referring to a negatively tinged complaint, whereas a whine can also be fear or sadness based

 

We mostly go with our parents, they foot the accommodation bill and the travel costs most times (I paid for my flight this year) Our holiday this summer lasted about 9 days for me, while for my parents and sisters they had closer to 3 weeks.

 

And he speaks in third person now? The Forest is most displeased.

Cool parents. You guys must be well-off, or at least savvy with finding cheap(er) travel-fare, given how Europe marks arguably the priciest vacationing in the word.

 

I use either (ha) pronunciation depending on how I'm feeling in the present moment, because my accent is weird

 

We spent most of our holidays camping in tents, which probably helped curb the costs. We've only been in anything more than caravans since last year, when it turned out that staying in a chalet actually ended up cheaper

 

thinking about it..... I may actually try to watch TLJ if I have time tonight. I haven't seen it in like a year and a half, so maybe I'll have different opinions on it this time

 

I also have to remind myself that you guys are just right across the Channel, geographically speaking. I'm sure that helps.

 

Oh I'm sure, it's a lot cheaper to cross the Channel Tunnel, and I once got a flight to Italy for like 18 quid I think

We drive as well - no one in our family likes flying. It's like two/three days, so not that bad.
