How about we compile a list of Forceusers in the ST era and that survived beyond IX possibly?

What Force Cults are still alive/around?

Have the Nightsisters reformed under survivors or did Merrin from Fallen Order choose to do something else? Or under other survivors from the post-ROTJ cellphone game?
What Cults did Lor San Tekka visit in ST era material?

After Dave's tweet the other day hopefully Ahsoka is retired on some beach and either used wbw or the force imprinted her for the 9 scene. I believe she is around (Ezra too) at this time.

In addition to them, maybe there are some Jedi or light force users hiding out there. And do we know if Jacen Syndulla is force sensative?

Sith Eternal are still around, not sure if any of them are Force Users.

The movie made a point they are all gone! Sure there are Darksiders somewhere in the galaxy still around but not Sith Eternal I believe.

 

Well there goes any hope I had he might resist his worst impulses.

As far as I can tell, the only Sith Star Destroyer we know was off Exegol, was the Derriphan,

which was sent to destroy Kijimi.

it had returned though already during the final battle given its female captain was seen with Pryde on the command ship before it was destroyed!

 

I didn't notice that. Maybe I should look more closely on a rewatch.

Can we be sure that

You can always retcon it to her returning alone but that would be not the most obvious reading of the scenes.

I rewatched it and really didn't see her on the deck of the Steadfast at Exegol, and believe me, I was looking closely.

It would have been nice for the Knights of Ren to survive. I liked their implied edginess. (I actually don't remember their death scene, had to check it on Wookieepedia.)

Hearing Ahsoka with all the Jedi implied to me that she would be part of the Force now cuz it would be weird for her to interject with a Force Jedi jamboree if she wasn't dead and isn't a Jedi anymore. As posted above, there is this twittering from Filoni



I'm not sure how she could be a part of all the Jedi that supports Rey and blasts Palpy at the end though by lending Rey her power. Unless she was just adding good thoughts inspirational speech to the whole thing. Just adding Force vibes to Rey while she's still alive, I guess.

 

Who all was in that Force medley? Obviously: Obi-Wan, Anakin, Luke, Yoda, Qui-Gon, but who else? I didn't catch them all.

 

voices of the Jedi gets it's own credit in the roll (and I noticed in the credits that Ben Burtt was credited on that montage), Mace, Kanan, Lumanara and Aayla are in there (the last two I think just say Rey's name). Common theme, they're all dead/joined the Force.

 

I think Ahsoka being there is a petty sure confimation that she is dead at that point aleady. Sure they would not confirm this until we get her further story in some source but I see no other logical way for her to be a part of the goup.

 

Kanan is totally acceptable to me in that sequence, because I felt like Rebels hinted that he had managed to do the selflessness thing that makes one immortal in the Force. Aayla, Luminara, Adi Gallia and Mace though.... none of them learned that or got there.

I dont think the Force Priestesses and their direct teachings are absolutely necessary to Force immortality, but it seems pretty clear the other Clone Wars era Jedi were not meant to have found the way to it.

The Dark Times opened up new possibilities for Jedi survivors, in my mind, because they were no longer bound by stultifying dogmas and institutions. Their relationship to the Force became more natural, without the institution as intermediary. Thus, for Kanan and Ahsoka to discover immortality or to even achieve it without specifically practicing for it makes sense to me.

That makes sense, Yea, I also don't know how Mace et. al go there like Yoda did.
