TV Discussion LACWAC/TV interview thread - Up Now: The Shadow Emperor

As some of you may or may not know there used to be an interview thread for the Star Wars TV section or as it used to be called LACWAC

Well I thought it was about time we started that up again but before we get started here are some simple rules

1.) If you want to be interviewed please send me a PM.
2.) Questions will be mostly Star Wars TV related but expect a few questions outside of that too (ie, Who is your favorite Superhero, which Star Wars movie has the best score)
3.) Each Interview will last for two weeks and at least 20 questions by me (subject to change)
4.) Once it is your turn to be interviewed you will be given a one week window to respond to the first set of questions before your skipped. If you want to try again after send another PM.
5.) No questions, that pertain to politics are permitted, leave that discussion in the JCC.
6.) If you feel uncomfortable answering a question please feel free to skip it.
7.) Anyone can ask questions of the interviewee but keep the above rules in mind

1.) Out of all the canon show Resistance, Rebels, TCW and Mandalorian which show has the best music and why?

I would say The Clone Wars. While I might be biased, I feel as though it most closely resembles Williams’s movie soundtrack while being its own thing as well.

 

2.) @Emperor Ferus What would be your ideal ending for the Mandalorian?

I would be interested in seeing a cross with the remaining threads from Rebels (Ahsoka, Ezra, etc), and maybe Luke’s Jedi Academy can be introduced.

The character of the Mandalorian should probably cross paths with the New Republic at some point.

I like the way she grows over the course of The Clone Wars into Rebels. I liked her even back when she debuted.

5. I saw a few episodes of Ewoks as a kid. I remember enjoying them.

7. I think it was a vision, but I would rather it have been real. Very underrated arc in my opinion.


8. I particularly like the Legends character Ferus Olin. The title Emperor has a better sound to it next to the name Ferus than Darth, Jedi, or anything else I could think of.

No joke, Moisture Farmer was a runner up.

9. I hope to see a full on battle on Mandalore. I suspect there will be an Ahsoka vs Maul duel and I look forward to that. I’d also like to see some of the battle of Coruscant, parts we maybe didn’t see in ROTS. Maybe Palpatine getting captured.

 

10.) If you could see any film character in the Mandalorian who would you want to see @Emperor Ferus

 

Just one?

Palpatine I think. Maybe a better explanation to how he survived if we really are going to see the First Order rise.

There are many others though. I have mixed feelings on a possible Boba Fett appearance.

 

11.) Seeing as you seemed disappointed name 5 movie characters you want to appear in the Mandalorian?

Yes.
I would say a spinoff starring Ahsoka and/or Rex, Boba Fett, or Darth Maul.

 

13.) do you wish that Disney would release Detours or should they keep it in the vault? @Emperor Ferus

 

I enjoy parodies like Family Guy and Robot Chicken Star Wars, so I don’t see why I wouldn’t like to see Detours.

14. I’d say Star Wars Underworld. I’d have it focus largely on live action Ahsoka, Rex, Maul, and Boba Fett and pick up on plot lines from both Rogue One and Solo. Maybe include Obi-Wan, but not as a main player.

David Mazouz would be a good young/young adult Boba Fett.

I’d be open to seeing what kind of role Brie Larson might play too.

 

16.) Do you think it would be a good idea to make some movies that go directly to Disney Plus? @Emperor Ferus

 

I kind of have to say no, because a lot of people can’t afford it (I saw the Mandalorian pilot with a free trial but couldn’t continue).
Only if they are also in the theater the same day of premiere I guess

 

One movie ticket is like three months of Disney Plus.

 

17.) Did you at any point believe that the Kenobi series was actually cancelled from recent rumors?
