    Harold Bloom was one of the standouts for me in 2019. I've enjoyed reading his work for the last 30 years. No one wrote as entertainingly about Shakespeare as he did, even if it wasn't always completely convincing. Also he gets credit for best renaming of the parts of the Christian Bible: "The Original Testament and the Belated Testament."

    Robert Forster, 78
    Oscar Nominee for 'Jackie Brown'
    - this one sticks out the most as it's one of the more recent, and he was the BrBa's El Camino movie, alive and well, and it was announced a few days later its Netflix release that he passed.
