Since I need to catch-up with newer OCs, didn't read anything in 2018 and don't remember anything I read (or wrote!) in 2017, a question for @divapilot, regarding her character Blue from the Blue/Bree series.

My question was for Blue, #11: Do they have a high or low tolerance for pain?

Blue's been through a lot. He barely survived a speeder crash when he was 20, and he's dealt with the residual pain of that injury for a long time. Due to that crash, he has a durasteel bar in his right leg where his tibia ought to be, and it causes him to limp, so he has that pain that he ignores. He's gotten into fights and scrapes, so he can deal with the physical pain. In terms of physical pain, he has a fairly high tolerance.
Emotional pain is a whole other deal. He has been betrayed badly in the past and it makes him very reticent to trust people. But when he does, he goes all in and he then lives in fear that he will be rejected. He has dealt with that pain by self-medicating all the way into addiction. Sometimes it's tempting for him to be drunk or high than to deal with the ugly realities of life. He's working on it, though.

My question is for @AzureAngel2 , for Nagina: #7: What cheers them up?

First of all, my apologies for being so remiss about checking on things in this sock! RL has really done a number on me over the last few months, but things have calmed down now, so I should be back at this whole sock administration thing in a more regular manner.

So, to get down to business:

First, for the OC Ask Game: @divapilot, since it’s been (WAAAY) more than ten days since your tag in the above post, may I ask you to please tag someone else? Thanks! (And once again, the list of questions may be found here.)

More generally, is there interest in keeping this game going? I do have some other OC-related games in mind that we could try if we feel like we’re ready for something a little different.

Next: what would you all say to a new challenge? If there’s interest, I can put something together within a day or two (barring all catastrophe).

And finally, if we start a new challenge, do we prefer a running time of eight (8) or ten (10) weeks? (I know the challenges in this thread often have run a lot longer—like, 3 to 4 months—but I’d like to experiment with some shorter times, given that it can be easy to lose motivation in challenges if the running time is too long. And I say that equally about myself!)

We’re back to the roulette format for this one: choose a number from 1 to 15 (here in this thread is OK), receive a feeling/emotion (also here in this thread), and write an OC-based story that in some way centers around that feeling/emotion. Note: the prompts in this list are going to be a little more specific and a little more colorful than your basic “happiness,” “sadness,” “anger,” etc., so brace yourselves!
