Got massively rained on on my walk home from the grocery store yesterday.

 

Finally got my Amazon delivery about 15 min ago.

 

I spent the past 20 minutes reading about the Royal Family and talking about it with my colleagues. Who has time for this stuff? I do apparently.

 

Fired up Slingtv this morning as usual. It didn't work. Exit, tried again. And again. Turned tv off, back on, tried again. Off to work. Get home and tried again. And again. Call the number, get a person, start to tell them the issue....and lo and behold BAM! It started working.

 

This is CA specific, so I apologize if it's in the wrong thread; moving it is fine and dandy! AB5 has put me out of work freelancing except for 34 articles annually. I write advertising copy and am currently flailing around for more "content mill" sites to apply to in order to build an income stream. Any hints appreciated.

 

Getting a medical bill today and it being due tomorrow.

 

So I log into my Microsoft account online and my Surface suddenly sported an Asus background.

Realized I didn't delete the returned Asus Vivobook from my online account.

Got to love wasting three hours trying to identify just what the hell is preventing your smart card service from properly running.

 

There are basically no direct flights to this conference I have in a month and a half, so I get to ask myself fun questions like "Do I want to spend 8-10 hours via plane+train (not counting security) or just 18 straight hours on trains...?"

 

What are the respective CO2 tags?

 

No idea and no inclination to add that to the opportunity cost mess.

I received something from Amazon once that was damaged , so I rang them and asked how to return it , they said I could print off a returns label and put that on it , but I don't have a printer so I said to them : could you print one off and post it to me, he went away for a while and came back saying "we don't have a printer."
I thought he was joking, but he wasn't.
