Rian isn't coming back to Star Wars regardless of any comments the guy makes.

IF LFL is wise (big IF) they would give the keys to Favreau and Filoni. Otherwise, I'm simply not going to bother with Star Wars anymore, and will find something else to entertain myself with (or complete the story I am making so that my future children can have something unique to be inspired from, like what GL did for me)

What if your kids like the ST

 

The Mandalorian is great, Jedi: Fallen Order is great, and I hope season seven of The Clone Wars is also great. There’s still stuff to look forward to, but as of right now new films are not one of them.

 

As long as the voice actors are alive, it’s not too late to adapt the Clone Wars legacy media (Son of Dathomir, Dark Disciple, etc) onto the screen, even after Season 7 is over.

 

Then they’re being sent to Azkaban prison, like Barty Crouch Jr!

 

The reason they haven’t gotten rid of him at least officially is because unlike every single other director LFL has a good relationship with him. Filoni is already in charge of the creative side basically. He’s basically KK’s right hand guy. The thing is KK is business she is a producer Filoni has never done business in film. Jon also is more a director type. They need a president. That is what KK is good at.

Also wanna know who hired KK? Disney? Nope it was Lucas who wanted her in charge of the company.

 

Also even if KK or Johnson or whoever we’re still making stuff there is still stuff you like. There always will be. Both Filoni and Jon will be working on great stuff. You’ll like that.

True, but Lucas trusted Kennedy before she sold him out by approving of his treatment getting tossed. Even if I overlooked that one thing, I still say he didn’t know she would approve the treatment Luke and company got in the ST.
Yes, I have liked Star Wars media released by Disney, but still. Doesn’t change what happened and how I feel the ST hurt the first two trilogies.

 

His treatments were bad from what I saw. Won’t miss them. Also Disney and KK specifically told George that they would buy his treatments but that didn’t mean they would use them.

Okay. Whether they were bad are subjective, and I can’t put my hand over my heart and say they were good or bad. Maybe I wouldnt have liked it.

But I still feel the way I do about the trilogy we got. I don’t think he would have made a mockery of his own previous films even if his idea wasn’t anything great.

 

Lucas wanted her there because she was his friend, thinking she would back him and his vision, only for her to stab him in the back by tossing out his outlines.

As of TLJ, the merchandise and box office profits for Star Wars is at an all time low. She fired more directors than the number of films she’s produced within Lucasfilm. She’s cost Disney and Lucasfilm a lot of money, and seeing as TRoS won’t even match Rogue One’s box office results, she’s going to have no real power as Iger waits for her contract to expire. I hope Faverau replaces her and the current story group is replaced by Filoni’s team.

 

Also a trend I notice with Filoni is most of the community doesn’t like half the shows. They like the last few seasons. Most people would say season 1 and 2 of Rebels is the worst and same with TCW. I like both shows completely.

 

No, Iger told Lucas that. No one else did. Kennedy told Lucas to his face that she would protect his story, characters, and vision, but that was a lie.

 

Friends don’t exist in Hollywood.

 

That’s a fact Lucas forgot, unfortunately. Reality gave him a kick in the rear for his misplaced trust in Kennedy. But Lucas was never a Hollywood type of guy.
