Perfect casting though.

Just saw this, many other sources agreeing. Now, they're probably just rereporting the initial rumor, but Screencrush, IGN, Polygon and several others believe this rumor. MakingStarWars has followed reposting the Slashfilm scoop, and he believes it.

This is some damned well-needed good news!!!! Just in time to watch her Clone Wars season 7 arc begin!!

 

Now I just have to survive this pandemic in order to see Ahsoka in live action!!!!!

 

Whhaat! ?? Tell me this is good joke, i can,t get excited. Don.t give me hope for a live action Ahsoka Tano.

He,s legit i take it. I both dread this and excited. of how she will look and sound the last live action torgruta didn,t look very good but then that almost 20 years since.

Rosario is excellent casting. Looks like if Ahsoka works on Mando, we'll be getting live-action Ahsoka spin off show.

I wonder if her appearance will lead to her own show with baby yoda and him learning to become a jedi with Yoda senior to guest appearance. lol

 

I'd rather get the TCW sequel show than one with Baby Yoda.

 

we could get both animation with a large story and alive action one with smaller story.

Ahsoka rules and so does Rosario. I couldn't be happier with this casting.

 

Shaak Ti didn't move much or do much and I'm wondering if that was just because of the role or the cumbersome nature of the headgear the actress had to wear.
I'm very curious if Rosario had prosthetics or if the montrals are CGI. If she has the big lightsaber battle with Moff Gideon, she's going to have to move a lot.

 

Much as I joke around about Gideon getting curbstomped in a lightsaber fight with Ahsoka who I can't imagine he'll have much chance against. I hope they use Ahsoka for more than a cool lightsaber fight. I am hoping season 2 will be less of a slow burn introduction over eight episodes and the show will really begin.

 

we will get mutch more force stuff at least. getting some force lore.

 

For the sake of the show (and by show I mean "entertainment value") it would be better to have Gideon vs Mando.

Hmm.. Live action Ahsoka, and in her "Gandalf the White" period... I'm excited and worried at the same time.

 

One thing I hope for is that they let Ahsoka have more of her personalty from CW which was missing from Rebels. I get that she is adult now and had seen some stuff and just realized Anakin became Vader but you don't completely loose your personalty much. I just don't want her to be this stoic humorless mentor character. Dumbledore had personalty. Just because you are in that position doesn't mean you loose it. I also blame the terrible plastic gummy bear like animation for not allowing much emotions to be seen.

 

I think they'll let her lighten up. Rebels was the point where she accepted that she couldn't save Anakin and it was time to move on. (And Anakin got the big happy Force ghost ending anyway.) She's past the survival-guilt depression stage and there's nothing you can throw at her that would compare to what she's already been through.

Besides, even Rebels Ahsoka threw a lot of sass at the bad guys. She's only the serious type when mentoring but that was also true on Clone Wars' later seasons.

 

As much as I don’t like this news as I wanted the show to focus on original characters at least Eckstein isn’t playing her in live action as she did not fit the look
