    So here is where we are watching TROS, right?

    And about the novelization. It is a pretty quick read in my opinion. It does provide some more backstory and fix some of the pacing issues of the movie.

    The rolling scroll would be better if the first line "The dead speak!" was edited out. Just a little melodramatic for my taste.

    Main takeaway from this movie: ships (fleet of Star Destroyers, Ochi's ship, Luke's X-Wing) can sit unused for years under ice, a desert and underwater and still work perfectly fine.

    I do like the quest aspect with the Wayfinders. Just think they should have been introduced earlier in the ST. Perhaps as a running quest throughout the ST.

    The statues of the Sith are eerie so that creates good atmosphere.

    "I have been every voice you have ever heard inside your head." One of the better Palpatine lines for me. Does describe how he operates, insinuating himself into people's minds to twist them to the Dark Side.

    That was among the coolest 6 minutes of SW I've ever seen!

    I'd like a whole movie about the Sith.

    I'm not sure the fleet of star destroyers had to be hidden in a hidden planet but whatever

    Love the scene between the Chewie, Finn, and Poe on the Falcon. Just has a nice sense of camaraderie to it.

    Even if I'm not a fan of the light speed skipping or whatever it is called.

    The sense of camaraderie is what shines through most in TROS for me, and why it is my favorite film of the ST despite some pacing issues and strange plot lines.

    Training reminds me of the SW book Lightsabers.

    BB-8 looks great in a forest setting.

    I do like the scene of Rey mediating in the rain forest. Something profound about her "Be with me."

    I love pretty much all of Rey's interactions with Leia. Leia is a great mentor for Rey.

    BB-8 being adorable--offering to help Rey--is a good example of why I caved and bought a stuffed BB-8 to keep me company in quarantine.

    My main complaint about the ST is the clumsy, misguided attempts to inject hackneyed MCU style dialogue.

    Not needed, not wanted, and not necessary.

    I do like the dynamic between Poe, Finn, and Rey. Shame that was never developed until the final film of the ST. Could have been one of the real strengths of the ST if more developed throughout the three films.
