woodland only had to three-putt to win, and played the hole as conservatively as possible. i don't know if anyone expected that one to drop.

Still if I was Rose I would have at least gone first then probably finished out.

So long Fox, thankfully we won't see you again til next year. Sadly we're stuck with Azinger on NBC though (never a fan of him as a player and not that big fan of him in the booth. Would rather have Curtis Strange be the main guy for Fox).

 

I like Azinger. It's Buck and all of the random football player-looking guys who never stop talking that make the FOX coverage so bad for me.

Brad Faxon is good too. Curtis Strange has always been one of the best, I think, since his ABC days.

Woodland not only looks a lot like Koepka, but they act similarly, too. Not much celebration, no interest in celebrity, just gracious in victory.

 

For him at this point it might be more in line to say just make a cut. No idea how he's in the top 40 WGR still. 2015 seems like a long time ago.

 

82 for Tiger! So happy he's been able to get back to this level and make his mark on history again (and hopefully again and again).

really touching piece by payne stewart's daughter, on the 20th anniversary of his passing. i remember that us open at pinehurst like it was yesterday - the years go by quickly!

You pretty much have a run of the PGA then the FedEx Cup playoffs. Couple that with US Open/Ryder Cup, not too shabby. I'm looking forward to the fake flowers they'll have to plant at Augusta in November.
