40th Anniversary Luke on TaunTaun

 

Saw a few of The Mandalorian Pops in Entertainer today. I liked The Armorer but gave it a pass.

 

I want the Yoda and his hut and the Luke and Taun Taun.

 

Went to Galaxy's Edge Anaheim during the week and picked up DJ-R3X & Hondo Ohnaka.

 

I just noticed it was Luke and not Han from those pics @PadmeLeiaJaina

 

Is the cronoa virus impacting Funko's production at the moment? I thought for sure we'd have seen a second wave of TROS Pops announced by now.

 

Highly possible. I checked the bottom of the box on my nearest Funko Pop (Golden Boba) and it does say Made in China.

 

No, not that anyone is aware of. They have a majority of their factories in Vietnam now too. They did a second wave, that was dark side Rey, red eyes 3po, and the KoR in chrome. I would be very shocked if they did a wave 3. There’s no other major characters to make really, and any variants (or the emperor) would be better suited to cons. The Last Jedi pops stopped releasing after its second wave too, so I assume this will be similar.

 

Not doing a Ben Solo, reborn Palpatine or even Rey with her new lightsaber at the end seems like a big missed opportunity for them though.

 

That’s what con exclusives are for. Snapping Tony isn’t even a normal wide release, and that’s a bigger deal than any pop from TROS.

 

I'd probably pick up that Wampa if I saw it - I like the ferocious look.

 

That Wampa looks pretty good. Might have to pick that one up.

 

Are the Han and Leia pops from the "I love you" scene available separately or just as a two pack?

 

Just as the two pack! Kinda shocked they didn't announce any more pops than just the new Mando wave yesterday. Then again, Funko also announced that they're having issues with production so I guess best to take it easy.

 

Is that Yoda a KOTOR pop?
