Guess its good for 6 year olds, cant see the point though. I think a live action Jedi Academy shorts might've been a better idea that could actually explore Jedi lore and training.

 

I think I will watch the first episode out of canon obligation (I mean, it IS possible at some point a Jedi Master who looked and sounded like Amhed Best put padawans through the paces, sort of like how Lego Star Wars is canon-ish) but unless they have like a SW guest star host, pass on the rest.

 

This is definitely something that's not intended for me, nor do I have any real interest in it, however, Star Wars is very much "for everyone," and I know such a game show will appeal to many individuals, both young and old. It's not exactly the direction I would take the property in, but, I'm not in charge of LFL, heh heh.

I do think it's awesome Ahmed Best is involved though, and it brings me happiness to know he is in a much better place in life, and that many fans are embracing both his contribution to cinema (and the saga) and his actual character of Jar Jar Binks. His involvement alone will make me watch this show, despite the fact that it's not something I necessarily find interesting.

I have an inkling that this was leaked a long while back. A Year or longer ago. So it's not really a surprise but more of an "Oh yeah, that's a thing!" Great to see it's finally confirmed.

 

I highly doubt they were debating between this and another animated or live action show so I don’t see the reason to complain here. I am definitely going to show this to my cousins kids

 

Hah! This is perfect, we even got the VA for Olmec already in the franchise. They ought to combine this with Guts! and have the kids climb the Citadel Wall from "Clone Cadets" Aggro Crag style.

You know what would be cutting edge?
If everyone... hosts and kids... all wore dotted up CG suits to compete, and then were converted into aliens and droids in post production.

 

Oh yeah! Let's throw some Nick Arcade into the mix.

well at least we get some SW content for the Summer. Maybe if they announce something Lego would be fun way to have SW in Summer.
