Did not have the McCann disappearance possibly being solved on my 2020 bingo.

 

Thanks for your well wishes everyone. My son's appendix actually burst, so he has to stay in the hospital until at least Friday, maybe Saturday depending on how well he responds to anti biotics. It was so out of nowhere. Or probably his tummy hurt yesterday and he didn't tell us, I mean he is 12 and maybe he didn't realize it hurt that bad. So my husband took him in the AM and I was here with our other son when I typed the post earlier. I got to the hospital and tagged my husband out because during these times only one parent at a time and no siblings. I was there when he woke up and checked in his room and I ordered him dinner. While I was there they hooked up a play station for him and he fell asleep with the controller in hand. So, I'm still a bit nervous and rattled, but I know he's going to be okay. Can't wait to have him back home to play video games here. Husband is there with him now.

 

Damn, sorry to hear it burst. Was hoping it would be less complicated than that.

This is the cat I affectionately call Salt and Pepper, because his black fur is all grey at the tips! And I sat and hand fed him a slice of ham as a thank you for keeping me company during these difficult times. I tried to give it to him all in one piece, but his jaws couldn't manage the weight, so I sat with him over an hour and fed him tiny pieces.

 

I couldn't have fed Ham any ham. That would have been cannibalism.

 

We have a young red cat with a white band. I just saw her in the garden and thought: she looks like Santa. So that's her new name now.

I don't know what made me think of this, but seeing @Darth Punk a few posts above, I found myself wondering "what ever happened with his rat infestation situation?" Then I did a search for the "Rat Jihad" thread to see if it had been updated. I then noticed that the last update about the pest control being on the way and the cat and Roomba patrols having been enacted was posted on January 20...one day before he started the pandemic thread...
