Celebration Anaheim 2022: What will they unveil?

Before the Pandemic occurred was Celebration sold out?

 

Hopefully we'll still get a little something to tide us over. I think a trailer for The Mandalorian is a cert.

 

Pretty much, aside from individual Thursday and Sunday tickets.

 

Not even virtual? They must not have anything of note to say/share.

 

To be fair a lot of the conventions that have cancelled, cancelled first and then announced their online version a few days later. So let's not jump to conclusions yet.

 

But if you opt to transfer tickets instead of getting a refund or a merchandise credit, you get a "free exclusive Star Wars Celebration stormtrooper character pin". "Thanks for letting us keep your money interest free for two years! Here's a pin!"

 

A pin that everyone is going to get that will have zero collectors value.

 

At least in 2022 we'll see a trailer for the 2022 movie and exactly what Taika going to do in 2024 will be revealed ( I hope )

 

- The Kevin Feige - Brie Larson Rogue Jedi movie announcement. She comes on stage and waves a lightsaber about, and then Robert Downey Jnr steps on stage in full Imperial Officer uniform, and the crowd goes wild!
- The Ahsoka Series panel with Rosario Dawson and Temuera Morrison and Pierce Brosnan in blue face makeup.

 

- John Travolta gets lost and winds up on stage looking confused.
- Some guy on a buffalo shows up on stage, playing the ukulele

 

- Ian McDiarmid appears and says "Roll it again"

 

Celebration got bumped up by 3 months.



First looks for Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mando season 3 and maybe Andor (unless it releases earlier in the year)?

Maybe teases for the other series depending on where they are in production? Something for Rogue Squadron?

 

I think Andor might be releasing episode at the time. maybe we get some new shoots, first look or teaser at Kenobi and Vader. New detail on Ahsoka, Acolyte new republic show, the movies.

 

When will we get the next Celebration in Europe? The last time was In London ages ago (2015 was it?). I was there and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

 

First look at Kenobi or at the very least a conversation with the cast.

 

I think trailers for Andor might be up earlier as it supposed to be out early 2022.

 

Not a good time for me. August would have been better. Guess I won't be attending this one.

 

Oh man if Ewan and Hayden show up on stage together, they're gonna bring the house down.

 

Maybe we get a trailer for Rogue Squadron

 

How about some type of teaser for Rogue Squadron, like the Rogue One concept teaser shown at Celebration Anaheim 2015. They hadn't even started principal photography at that point. Or if the film is already in production, then maybe a BTS reel like Andor?

 

Its probably going to be a TV focused celebration. Rogue is still too far away. They could also do some ST retrospective panels plus they'll probably reveal the Fallen Order 2 and also first footage from the new game being made by Ubisoft.

 

if they haven't already started airing it yet then we'll probably get a trailer for The Bad Batch Season 2, details about Rogue Squadron, maybe even updates on things like A Droid Story, Ahsoka, Lando, and the Acolyte, and maybe a firm confirmation on Rangers of the New Republic (i don't deal in rumors, only facts).
