Discussion A hard reset: Star Wars: Legacy. Give me your pros and cons.

Ok, y'all after hearing all the talk about the sequels being retconned. I started thinking if they want a hard rest why not just jump forward a few 100 years and adapt Star Wars: Legacy? Other than R2D2 and perhaps BB8 everyone else is dead and we got Cade who is a real Skywalker. Yeah, I know he has a deathstick habit and that the parent company doesn't do antiheroes .But, here's a solution I don't think anyone has proposed.

 

Then the question becomes, who is Cade descended from?

I think that's probably what they should have done in the first instance... It would have been the best way to keep the legacy of the OT/PT somewhat intact.

 

That's the way I look at it.
